Cheated not defeated is a tad bit much.

Ok there was an injustice of sorts with the bull**** stoppage but it wasnt an out and out case of somebody cheating.
I think team McCloskey should just get over it and move on from here, build themselves up for their next few fights and who knows, McCloskey could be in line for a title shot 12 months from here.

On another note, in response to what Rob said about McCloskey gaining nothing from the fight, that is bull****. McCloskey looked very calm in there with the world champ and never once looked hurt or in danger. That has to give him a lot of confidence as a fighter.

Just be glad that it ended in the way it did. Going to scorecards prematurely on a cut, is far better than being shutout 120-118 on every single scorecard, or worse, being stopped later on – which was very possible with Khan coming on stronger and beginning to hurt Paul in the last round.

Yes, he was cheated, but not in the way you’re thinking. If he’s got anyone to blame other than the referee, it’s got to be himself. Very poor effort by Dudey. The Irish fans should be annoyed by him as much as they are by the bad referee decision.

No its not. I'd rather see a fight play out in full then have wonder over premature stoppages.

Plus, there is no guarantee that would of happened.

spot on with the first bit. But he needs to do things properly. No more Barry Morrisons. He can make a big point about the cut not being bad by getting another fight in before Khan fights. June there will be a Matchroom Kell Brook card, McCloksey needs a a 10 rounder agaisnt someone ranked by the EBU as the first live fight on the card. From there he can push towards regaining the European title before the year is out get himself high in the World Rankings. With Bradley & Khan fighting soon allot of belts will free up when they move to 147 to chase Pacquiao, Mayweather & Ortiz etc.

I completley disagree. Although he looked calm he was implementing a strategy where was was never ever going to be in danger. Anyone can go in there and lose 6 rounds and not take to many pucnhes. Theres no skill to it. It was a let down from PM.

    1. Muslims are not supposed to consume alcohol

    2. Dont go to the Khan Bradley fight - it will be total **** imo. a horrible fight to watch. Bradley has gota be the biggest spoiler out there (probably unintentionally) and Khan will move then grab when Bradley does his ridiculous head first dives. over and over. controversial points / cut stoppage

    I agree with you mate.

It was a **** **** **** decison by the doc and ref. there was no need to stop that fight, i have seen boxers with far worse cuts than that after about a min it stopped bleeding anyway.

my personal opinion was for him to carry on and fair enuf if it opened up again badly then stop the fight but it was crazy and i was pissed off, i told my old man to phone primetime to get hios money back. not sure if he done it yet though.

I was very annoyed i will never pay 15 quid for a khan fight again, and the 2 other fights wtf is that all about.

Maybe not intentionally, but his fights are always scappy as ****, he jumps in, theres always loads of holding and something like 5/6 of his last few opponents all have cuts from head clashes, hardly a coincidence.

But hey, if you enjoy watching him, each to their own

He said he wasn't the biggest spoiler, not that he enjoyed watching him. There are so many other fighters that are bigger spoilers than Bradley. Timbo isn't even a spoiler, as the majority of the time he takes the fight to the opponent, rather than trying to shut down their offence.
