I speak a little bit of spanish, and while I understand most things the interviewer asks I cant understand a word juanma says, I think its because of his speech.
    Anyone has a short summery?

JuanMa is a big boy. He said he was 141 on fight night. I wonder if he did that to match Salidos fight night weight or if he was just out of shape.

He basically does not agree with the stoppage and said 2 days before the fight they asked to have the ref changed. It was denied and he also says he overtrained then he takes that back and says no he didnt. Also mentioned the weight coming in at 141 on fight night. Says the divorce had nothing to do with it. He is very sorry for the fans that he let them down. The host asks him about somebody telling him he pigged out at IHOP on saturday morning. He says not just normal eating after weigh ins.
He wants a rematch in August-September. Does not want a tune up. Host seem to think its ill advised.

JuanMa mumbles alot. Its very very hard to understand him.

Juanma spoke as a champ...no excuses, Salido was the better man.
they were trying to get him to say that his personal issues had to do with his defeat,Juanma says NO.
they were trying to blame the referee and Juanma says ,even if he was concious and fighting back,he understand Salido was hurting him and it was the referee's job to protect the fighter. He just want the rematch.
neither the feud with Vazquez Jr had to do with it, he is putting that stuff behind him.
he admits his weight needs some adjustment.
Gave Salido all the credit for winning.

tnx:good, I think he doesnt want a tune up because he wants to move up to 130 asap, I still think those factors influenced his performance a bit, I hope he can win the rematch but it will be very tough for him.

Yes, El Despelote in PR. The hosts were disagreeing on whether it was a good stoppage or not, they asked Juanma, he said it was difficult to be the ref, and he didn't question his decision. He felt he was OK to continue though.

They asked Juanma what he told the ref right after stopping the fight, he obviously didn't repeat it, he said it was in the heat of the moment.

They asked him about his personal problems, he said those things didn't affect him. He had good proper training, but he didn't feel his punches were fast enough.

He gained 15 pounds after the weigh-in, at 140, but he doesn't feel it had anything to do. He feels frustrated that he let down his people.

They asked for a rematch, he still doesn't know, August-September maybe. It will be a direct rematch.

They asked about his war of words with Wilfredo, he didn't want to talk about that a lot. He is OK to sit down with Vázquez and talk. They tried to get him to talk to him on air, but he wouldn't.

He hasn't watched the whole fight yet, he's only watched a few rounds.

BTW, he's definitely slurring at times.

Its hard to tell if he is slurring. I always found him hard to understand so i dont know if thats his way of talking or its the punches talking.

I've listened to some previous interviews, and he was easier to understand. I mean, I could understand everything he said. Now I had to rewind a few times, even so, I couldn't make out some words. As you said, he mumbles a lot, but he didn't use to a while ago.

He comes out as a nice likable dude.

Yea if anything this fight makes me a pretty big fan of his. He never took a step back. I swear he has to have Mexican blood in him.....

Guy was throwing till the ref stopped it.
