Well, that sounded too logical and nuanced an argument for this thread-starter.

 

i dont think pac hits harder than maidana, he just throws punches from everywhere with amazing speed

Pacquiao hits harder. And are some people seriously saying that he wants nothing to do with Ortiz or Maidana? I've been seeing that on a few threads. Pacquiao destroys them both. Its a pointless matchup at this point.

 

Maidana's power fades as it nears the later rounds, hence why he couldn't knockout Khan in the 10th, and even allowed Khan to come back in the 11th.

 

Maidana is weak, man.

He better not fight Pacquiao because he's going to make Pacman look like the Welterweight Mike Tyson.

Thats the difference. I think that Maidana hits harder, but pacquiao throws more. Pacquiao has speed and volume with pop. Maidana just has pop.

 

Pac is the sharper,faster, accurate puncher so chances are hes gonna get you with the punches you dont see..Which we all know are likely to knock you out.

Maidanas are slower but harder, more powerful.. He can ko a guy with a punch whether they see it or not.

Different kind of punhcers IMO both equally dangerous.. Difference is Pac has 10x the skill Maidana does and will usually be able to get that Ko first over the same opponent.

His KO's are tomato cans. You saw, he couldn't hurt Khan nor Morales.

 

Not saying who hits harder between the two, but you act like Pacquaio is knocking dudes out left and right. He isn't. He KO'd one ready to be KO'd overrated boxer in Hatton. Everybody else withstood his punches. Pac couldn't put a weight drained walking corpse down, not even once. He couldn't KO Cotto, Cotto was about to go the distance when the ref jumped in and stopped it in the 12th at a point when Cotto wasn't even hurt. Pac couldn't hurt Clottey. And he beat on Margarito for 12 rounds and couldn't KO him. Pac hit Margarito with way more clean power shots then Mosely did, but still couldn't get him out of there.

I think Maidana's power is a little over rated, but I think Pacquaio's is more over rated.
