khan's single punch shot is slow!!

What the **** are you talking about? This is why I hate this ****ing website and all of you stupid bitches. Khan looks bad in ONE FIGHT, for the first time in a very long time and everybody suddenly decides he is not accurate or fast? You guys are ****ing ******ed, do some research on Paul McCloskey and then come back, stupid ****s. It is impossible for anybody to look good against him, he is a very awkward southpaw fighter.

 

STFU. Everybody said he was avoiding Maidana and that he was going to get knocked-out. Almost every time he gets a new opponent people jump against him. You're just a stupid little hater, now **** off.

mccloskey made no ****ing secret that his plan was to make khan miss for the first half of the fight and make him pay in the second half, mccloskey knew he wouldnt win the first half of the fight, like I said, this was hardly a secret, it was his stated gameplan for months. unfortunately we never got to see it.

anyway, a big **** you to all those who called me an idiot for daring to say mccloskey would last more than 3 rounds.

and to those who called me an idiot for saying maidana would not run through morales.


as for this whole "khans combos are sloppy and he headhunts too much" , yeah, tell us something we didnt know from the day he turned pro, these are things ive said for years...for so called boxing fans, you guys sure dont know a lot.

i think khan shuld have one more fight at 140...then move upto 147..he seems weight drained and due to this his..hand speed,punch power and general output is effected..he is quite tall and his body frame wuld cope with another half a stone of muscle mass.better fights in that divison for him.....the sooner the better. :yep

 

Nope, I actually thought McCloskey would do well, and make it to a close decision. So it's a shame about the headbutt 'cause the fight seemed like it was just warming up.

If anything McCloskey looked the most disappointing trying to be a cutie, sure he made Khan miss a lot, but he landed **** all himself. Khan didn't even drop a single minute of any round before the stoppage.

Khan wins by a dominating UD in a rematch, or stops him on accumulation late.

I think after his last outing, Khan’s flaws are being exaggerated and his approach in the fight being criticised for wrong reasons. Those quick, loose flurries that you’re all complaining about, were actually needed against an awkward, elusive southpaw. I keep hearing he should have planted his feet more, but why the **** would he do that? So McCloskey could anticipate his shots easier? So he could make him miss even more? So Khan could tire himself out?

Like the HBO commentators said, Khan’s whirlwind flurries worked because they were scoring him easy points. He may have missed with the 2nd and 3rd punches, but the 4th and 5th would eventually get through and tag McCloskey who couldn’t bend back any further to avoid the last shots. He maybe should have used his feints a bit more, but what he was doing seemed to be working because he was getting to McCloskey more and more before the clash of heads.

Also, just because he’s never fought at world level before, people here automatically perceived McCloskey to be a ‘Euro bum’. Ridiculous. This is one of the many reasons why ESB is a ****ing joke. Without even bothering to study a fighter, they dismiss his qualities. I guarantee that McCloskey, with his damn awkward style, would make the best of 140 look less than stellar. I really hope he's able to work his way towards fighting the likes of Alexander, Maidana, etc, and prove how tricky he really is.

 

McCloskey would make Alexander look downright stupid at times, and I think he would give him a damn good fight.
