Just watched this on tv a little while ago. Heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time... http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=6390758&categoryid=3060647
It was so emotionally intense to watch as you felt both sadness and joy at once! It is perhaps one of the greatest things a boxer has ever done. Paco's family did the right thing by allowing their Paco to fight on!
I watched it and it had my emotions doing involuntary things. I had to turn it off close to the end and go chop some wood and some other manly ****.
It would be a shame for his body he worked so hard to keep in shape to go to waste... his heart.. to stop beating" I don't know why but **** I was fighting to hold back the tears, never had that happen before
this should be STICKIED up in this general forum so that people can stop being little kids and keep it real. we follow a BRUTAL sport, have respect for everyone in the ring.
This is powerful stuff. I found a link for anyone that missed it. Part 1 [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwv0Ow4X1tk[/ame] Part 2 [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JC_6EK7OFmU&feature=related[/ame]
Agreed people who call fighters cowards, or mock them for getting knocked out have no idea what it means to get inside a ring. Death is an absolute reality in boxing but sports now a day have been turned into nothing more then games and people watch boxing under this umbrella, but as the old saying goes, you don't play boxing. RIP Paco
