    I've scored the fight the same way. However, I agree that the 2nd round could be a Maidana round and there's a Maidana round I almost scored to Morales.

    So, I scored it a draw but any boxer winning by a round was OK for me. Morales was GREAT !

    i had Maidana winning by 2 points.

    still, erik showed a lot of heart there. and he hurt maidana more than maidana hurt him.

    Close fight, had Morales by a point or 2 (cleaner, classier puncher throughout) but can accept a draw because he gave away the last 2 rds.... the sad thing is, even if Erik had won the last 2 rds he would only have gotten a majority draw in this fight, the judges are a fkn joke & have gone against Morales in close fights more than for him in his career.

    Maidana is 1 lucky **** that Morales wasnt 27 also... Im proud of Morales, he showed yet again that he is 1 of the purest warriors in boxing history (as if anyone ever doubted this)

    I think Morales deservs a title shot on the back of that performance, personally.

    Lots of sentimental crap in this thread but the truth is Madaina CLEARLY won. Shame on anyone for having Morales winning that fight.
