Hypejobs....?

By looking through many posts, there are so many boxers being called hypejobs, especially of late.

Maybe they're not hypejobs....maybe most of the other boxers are so mediocre and less than average. I guess the true Top 5 out there really stand way above the rest.

Anyone else see it this way?

No i don't see it that way. Point is, the term 'hypejob' is so overused, it's ridiculous.

The fact is that if a fighter isn't 'hyped' then he is clearly mismanaged and isn't being promoted effectively.

A hype job is a fighter who has been 'hyped' to a point where their talent cannot possibly fulfil their perceived potential. I agree that the term is thrown around far too liberally.

Depends... on the fighter (how arrogant) and the fans (how Rabbid). for example. if Mosely were to KO pacman there would be alot of poster calling him a hype job due to his recent string of opponets be very different from mosely. also due tothe fact that alot of pac fans are not boxing fans just pac fans there for people would refer to him as a hype job just to get them back for their total lack of knowledge. LOL

no fighter is really a hype job. when you take into account their level of competition. thats why we have test and gate keepers to see if they can get to that new level
