As long as Floyd get dissed as being a Fraud then so will his opponents , cause if Floyd is a fraud what does that make fighter like Ricky???
I don't see too many people saying "Floyd is a fraud" compared to the sheer amount of Hatton hate threads. Any tiny excuse these haters get, they are like rabid dogs desperate to pounce on any "Brit" or anyone who shows even a slight amount of respect for Hatton. Most of the Hatton fans I've seen on here (and Rick himself) have given Floyd respect for his victory. As someone else said in another thread, the only people still talking about Hatton are Floyd fans, which I think is true. Not too many Hatton fans are bitching about anything at all, they have accepted his defeat and moved on. As I said, it's all a bit tiresome to wade through the same old **** day after day, and it is bad for boxing overall. Boxing fans who hate boxers = not boxing fans at all. Show respect.
I want to see Hatton fight some guys who can move around a bit and have speed, a type of fighter that Hatton has never faced/beaten. His entire career, he has faced guys who are willing to just stand infront of him. I want to see how he does against a guy like Malinaggi, and I think it would be a pretty good fight.
For as long as his followers stop making excuses and just admit that he lost to a better fighter. :yep
a few years ago it was ricky only fights in the uk and he should fight in america if he wants to get recognition. he fights in america and is hated and derided.
It's fine to not like him because of his style or whatever, I think it's great, but I can see why some don't The vast majority on here are just wankers though, making personal jibes and trolling the same old shite Yanks, usually
What these teenaged goobers do not understand is that by constantly slagging off Hattons fighting abilities, they are undermining Mayweathers effort - the very same efforts they come here to glorify! As if developing severe fanboy-syndrome for the worlds recognized p4p nr 1 gives you bragging rights...
I predict that Hatton hate threads will stop as soon as the threads that are basically saying everything "Hatton would have been Floyd if... -The ref had penalized Floyd. -The ref had let Hatton cheat more -Hatton was bigger than Floyd -They fought at a bar -His arms were longer When you stop saying this bull****, I have a feeling people will stop 'dissing' Hatton so much! Oh my god, SHUT THE **** UP. Get over it, Hatton lost, he only won TWO ROUNDS at most, and only landed maybe 3 good punches in the entire fight. And the '147 thing' has been refuted so many times I have lost count.
The hate threads will stop soon after the nuthugging denial threads stop...Let's face it, the only way Hatton was going to win that fight was with a FREAKISH one-punch knockout. We didn't know that before the fight, but we know that now. I HATE THE PEOPLE WHO SAY "HATTON WAS WINNING THE FIRST HALF OF THE FIGHT". That stuff is garbarge. A fight is 12 rounds, not 4, not 6, and not 8. PBF starts slow, analyzes his competition, and makes adjustments. He does it in most of his fights. I think most people respect Hatton's heart and accomplishments, but don't make it out like he's getting picked on. The first thing that was done after the fight was a massive calling out of Joe Cortez, and saying if the fight was somewhere else that Hatton would've won. PBF is just better, and he'd be better anywhere they fought.
