    They're both bantamweights.

    Then Nishioka after that.

Japan vs Philippine Islands (formerly known as Maharlika).

nice to see a young fighter like Mares call out a red hot KO streaking Donaire

lots of guys would avoid Donaire and play it safe

Nonito is one helleva a fighter and definitely one of the best pfp fighters.. But Mares is no one to look past, just cause he has kod some good fighters does not mean hes gonna just ko everyone.. One of these days someone is gonna push him, and whos to say Mares wont be the one.

Obviously Nonito is the favorite, but dont expect walk in the parks every time out. Mares is proven and in his prime.

    No he isn't.

And as far as I'm concerned, Nonito and Mares are in different leagues. Abner has an impressive chin, so I wouldn't bet on him losing by stoppage, but he is far too hittable and predictable to beat someone as good as Donaire.

Will be a great match. I got Donaire by KO.

Donaire has the possibility of some great fights. The smaller weight classes is where it's at right now. I wouldn't bet against Donaire against any of those other top dogs!

Mares barely won a disputable decision against Darchinyan with the help of a friendly ref.

He doesn't make it past round 5 against Donaire.

I agree. At this juncture, Donaire is leagues ahead of him.

I like mares but i just dont seen him beating donaire. I think ARUM at this point probably will let donaire smash on anyone at 118 or 122.

Hopefully since donaire will probably leave top rank once his contract is up
