"No matter what, win, lose or draw, I expect it to be an interesting fight. I think Shane Mosley is going to have his moments in this fight...I think this could be the year of the upset, and also that adds intrigue to the Pacquiao-Mosley fight," stated Showtime commentator Al Bernstein as he shared his thoughts on the upcoming May 7th showdown between Manny Pacquiao and "Sugar" Shane Mosley. Check out what else he had to say.

Of course mosley can win, nobody denies that, just that the chance of him winning is very small. yesterday there was a vid where freddy said mosley will be coming out guns blazing in the early rounds because that makes the most sense given the circumstances. Which means he will have a gameplan for pac to be save while mosley is still strong the early rounds. thats why I think mosley has little to no chance, just a lucky punch. Pac will stop him.

Of course Mosley will have his moments

He had a big one or two against Floyd

Manny isnt getting out of this with out eating a few rights

I think Manny wins but he is gonna take punishment at one point or another

Shane coming out fast early might just allow pac to counter him nicely very early on and floor shane, although to KO shane i cant see it happening, but a TKO/stoppage from cuts or corner that is very possible.

Shane really does have the reach, power and speed to do pac over, but if he isnt super clever in way he does it he will lose, and if he carries on with the same non defence and struggles with movement still he will get beat to the punch and will be hitting thin air all night.

i really wish we had pac v marquez, and shane could be rematching cotto, fighting williams,or knocking out berto/ortiz.

I may bet on Pac getting knocked down in this fight. think he will win a decision, but can definitely see him touching the canvas early.

We could sit all day and speculate on what's going to happen! But rather than do that I would just look at he fact that Naz has told him many times. " You have to box him for 12 rounds and you can't make the mistake you made with Mayweather chasing him around the ring looking for one big shot!" Shane is going to have to take Manny deep into rounds 10, 11 & 12 and deliver the kind of performance like he has against so many oppoenents in the late rounds including recently Cotto & Margarito! This is how Shane can win and this is the only way. He cannot expect to take Manny out in the early rounds. He has to deliver to the body consistantly all night long in order to win this fight. I know this one's gonna go the distance because believe me, Pac ain't got what it takes to stop a guy who's never been stopped. Vernon Forrest rocked Shane in the worst way and Manny won't even come close to doing that kind of damage (if any). So I believe it'll be either a close decision for Manny or a Unans decision for Manny! If it's close I'm thinkin 115-113 114-114 115-113! Or more distant scores on a UD if Manny dominates in the late rounds. But I really do think Nazim has convinced shane that this is a 12 round ordeal and that he can't find Manny with 1 big shot without continuing to box and jab all night long!

The only problem, Shane is like 99 years old with a lot wear on them tires and that is why the Pac camp chose to fight him.

Pacquiao defied conventional wisdom many times in the past. PAC stopping Shane is highly possible. Be it a regular stop, corner stop, doc stop or ref stoppage.

    All he needs is one.
I can't imagine Pac standing/Staying up to a flush shot landed by Shane. (On the chin)

Well -- I'm sure this won't come as a surprise to anyone, but I agree with Kelly Pavlik's take on the fight. Shane needs to do something big in the first 4 rounds. He needs to either stop Manny in his tracks, or hurt him bad enough to take control and keep it.

It took him 12 rounds to knock out mayorga who is easy to hit, pac has a great chin, not glass. So I dont see mosley hitting a one punch ko like martinez or pac did vs williams and hatton. On the other hand williams had a great chin. Who knows? maybe but its highly unlikely.

I really believe nobody gets stopped in this fight. Manny won't be stopped because it's gonna be real difficult for Shane to find Manny in the body. This is the only way to hurt Manny! And Shane's movement is just way too sophisticated for anybody to touch him on that level! That's why we watched 5 boring ass rounds at the end of the Mayweather fight! Manny would have to expose himself inside and that doesn't make sense for him to do so when he could win with his boxer/puncher skills. Manny doesn't want to go toe to toe if he can avoid it and neither does Shane. I expect this to be one of the most technical fights of Manny's career! He has so so much skill and we're gonna get a chance to see somebody push Manny's envelope!
