Pacs handwraps

The ridges in Pacquiao's knuckles were to high.

When you throw a punch say at a fighter orital eye area where there is bone, the force of such punch can be concentrated in one of the ridges on the handwraps and fracture the bone it hits.

When the handwrap is flat, as Roberto Garcia was told by the inspector inspecting Margarito, the force of a punch is concentrated in the area of the whole fist, and not just a small ridge on the wrap.

When the force of a punch is concentrated in a smaller area of the fist, the probability to crack bone increases exponentially.

Against Mosley, Pacquiao will not wrap the way he did vs Margarito.....
......Nazim Richardson will make certain of it.

 

No way should any fighter be allowed to roll up strips of tape and place then between there knuckles to create high ridges under gauze.
......this is exactly what Pacquiao was allowed to get away with vs Margarito.

A representative from the commission was there supervising the hand-wrapping process plus a representative from Garcia's group was there also.

Garcia is stupid to make something out of it.

 

Reps from the commission are always there. They were there for Trinidad's handwraps and for Margarito's handwraps. They didn't catch the plaster in Margarito's wraps or the heavy tape on Trinidad's.... In both cases, Nazim caught it and made them correct it.

I do remember vaguely something about his wraps having ridges. If Garcia protested the wraps after they were signed off, it's kind of a tough **** situation.

As far as " well the commision was watching"....The texas commission is...incompetent to put it nicely. These are the same assholes that let Strikeforce fighters sit there with canned oxygen in the cage before their fight and who knows what **** they could have put in there.

 

dela hoya had the same wrap, many boxers use that wrap to minimize the danger breaking their fists

still can't beat Nevada Athletic Commission.

there are certain wraps that are legal in other states. Illegal in Nevada. Its important to be familiar with your local laws.
