Roy's speed and reaction time is no where near what it was in his prime.. and he is clearly over the hilll

Calzaghe however still looks very much at the top of his... and probly out works Roy easy.... Id prob say Joe has the faster hands at this point in time

 

Roy in his prime would beat Joe pretty comfortably. Now he would either get knocked the **** out or he would loose a wide UD.

 

Contrary to the belief of his fans, Jones is no longer competitive on an elite, world class level. A fight with Calzaghe would be bordering on criminal endangerment for the washed up peanut head Jones.
Maybe Roy could perform a rap song about being a dilusional , past his prime fighter instead.

 

How? I am a massive Roy Jones fan. I just cannot see it.

Joe Calzaghe and Roy Jones Jr did not show very much intrest in fighting one another. Joe showed alot of intrest in fighting Hopkins. Then Hopkins pulled out.

Glen Johnson isn't a big puncher either yet he sparked Jones out. So Calzaghe stopping Jones isn't outside the realm of possibility.

 

For me, there is no more better way for Jones to end his career than a decisive win over Tarver and Johnson.

 

If jones beats Tito easily i think King works on putting the fight together. It all depends on how he looks in this fight. I haven't given up on RJJ yet.

 

I disagree, the main reason that Johnson was able to beat Jones was that he layed on the ropes almost the entire fight. Jones never did that in his prime.
