That was classic. I remember watching it on TV when it happened. Campbell was really getting the best of Peden in that fight. Instead of going for the KO he wanted to play around, and boy did he get nailed. lol

 

Against Trinidad, Mayorga kind of turned with the punches, he didn't give Tito the same kind of free shots that he gave to Forrest. Furthermore, Forrest was so worried about retaliation he didn't really load up like he should have. The only punch out of the sequence that was semi hard was the last right hand he landed.

 

He meant terrible as in he did terrible damage, not he was a terrible puncher in terms of bad technique or low power, obviously.

 

As soon as I read the thread title Nate Cambell immediately came to mind, that was all time stupidity, some guys do it to lure shots to get counters, that was just dumb ass clowning of the highest order.

There's a difference between doing it as some kind of 'counter-punching bait' and just styling on people, though, but it's a fine line between the two.

lmao! Never saw that before. What an imbecile.

 

I clearly remember him lowering his hands, Shane didn't bother going to the head straight away, hammered him with a few hard body shots then banged him up top and Winky had to hold one and stumbled with Shane across part of the ring. If I'm correct Shane threw a right, jab then went for another right but by the time of the second right Winky was trying to hold one and had no intention of being hit with a shot like that again.
