That's not happening.. That's a lost cause. Example of one of the greatest wastes of talent. A true fans hero :-(

FLoyd fights Marquez = "Floyd fighting a old midget"

Pacquiao fights Marquez two years later = "great trilogy"

I see Zab beating Marquez and begining Marquez' fall from grace. Marquez will be one of those guys that keeps fighting long after his best days are gone though I'm afraid.

...what if Judah beats marquez fairly easily and a KO inside 8 rounds? Should Zab get a shot at Pac?

Arum has already stated his opinion on that matter.

    THey are looking at

Bradley, JMM, Judah, and Cintron for Pac's next pool of opponents to choose from he even mentioned Berto after the loss.

Beating JMM would improve his chances, as JMM beating Judah would equally improve his chances to call PAC to 140 where he really is made to be at.

That's because people don't respect Floyd. Something money can't buy.

    2 kinds of respect:

1.) It"s because they fear you and you have lots of connection and money = respect you can buy and not earn
2.) Respect you have to earn by not making an ass out of yourself and badmouthing other people = the kind of respect even if you are an old helpless guy that can be easily killed, but they won't because of the good things you did in the past.

    Floyd has Respect no.1

Agreed, no reason why he can't fight at 143

He weighed in at 144.5 in a 150 fight....

Pac can eat just a bit less and make 143 I think. He eats like 16 cups of rice a day just to maintain his 145-148 ring weight.... wat

The flipside is Pac can force Marquez to fight at 154 if he damn pleased---and it wouldn't matter because Pac wouldn't weigh more than 148 on fight night, anyways. AT 140+ Both Pac and Marquez don't have to drain much, if at all, so 143 or below would just be posturing from Marques fight to "drain" Pacquiao. Because some of you dumbasses think that Cotto's also "drained" at 145, right?

Though negotiations are going to be a *****. Pac's the #1 draw and he (well, Arum) can make all the shots

I sort of think Marquez has maxed-out his body frame at 135. Any bigger and he's just adding bulk and slowness.

Don't get me wrong; he got plenty enough skills to beat good people at 140, but he's not really at his best and would probably struggle against most of the elite from 140 upwards.

Just too small; it's not his fault.

I think Pac clearly states even way back that it's always his promoter's job to find someone in front of him no matter who it may be, so that argument is pretty much settled.

He knows he doesn't have the capacity of choosing fights that would have the most financial reward, still in exchange he can guarantee a good exciting fight, not safety first boring one, and would even open up to give the paying public their worth.

As for promoters looking for fights to benefit his/her stable, that's pretty much a no brainer. That's what
    This content is protected
do, not to short change their fighters. That's what all intelligent fighters are expecting for their promoter.

143 is ridiculous for Marquez against Pacquiao ! Hell Pacman could still make 135 so the fight should be at that weight but
I know it won't happen because it would be too fair to Marquez and Roach/Arum won't allow it. Anything over 140 is not acceptable for Marquez I say.

Looking at the Match up it's another JMM mistake.
Looking at the what it does in relation to making money, it's another JMM Mistake.

Bradley is a better match up for JMM's style and in terms of generating fan fight interest.
