Most fighters have some type of trouble with south paws, but which fighters would you say are the best at fighting them :think

    Marquez
    Kosta Tyzu
    Bernard Hopkins
    who else would you say?

Before Calzaghe-Hopkins wasn't B-hop like 9-0 against the devil spawn?

Hopkins beat Calzaghe. Only white people and europeans will disagree because of the racist comment of B-Hop.

As true boxing fans, we all know B-Hop beat the slapper.

 Hold your horses man, I'm not saying I thought Hopkins lost, but I remember something in the build-up to the Wright fight I think, where he was constantly mentioning he was 8-0 against the dirt of the earth. If so...that's quite an impressive record.

Just wondering if that is indeed true as I haven't acquired my Hopkins career set yet.

i'd say barrera the way he whooped naz, moved the right way worked the jab perfectly, he executed it all nicely except for one thing that was to throw his right more often but he didnt, but that jab of his worked wonders, kinda like pernell the way he moved and then threw jabs over the orthodox's jab hand,

and i know he lost to pac, but naz was a beast back then undefeated and all i think he put him in his place

Yeah right, by offering himself like a *****, grabbing and complaining. In reality Hopkins won 4 rounds tops, maybe one more, but got throughoutly outworked, the knockdown simply gave people the impression he's gonna hurt Calzaghe with every shot. In reality Hopkins was outboxed and outfoxed, he wasn't out of breath but out of thoughts in the 2nd half and Calzaghe landed more in one fight than Taylor in 2.

BHop is still a superb southpaw slayer, one of my favorite active fighters... Donaire and Haye look very natural vs. lefties too.

Mayweather is like 6-0 against them and has lost maybe 4 to 6 rounds max against all the ones he fought combined. Roy Jones beat a ton of Southpaws as well and beat like 6 six in a row at one point.

Haye is 2-0 2Ko's against them and knocked one out in the first and the other one could have been in the first :think

The only thing about that is the guys he was going against weren't all the impressive, but I do give him props for that

I wish Roy got the chance to fight Nunn :thumbsup

Also I was thinking about mention Floyd, but he's a weird case. He's beaten all the southpaws he's fought decisively. They trouble him a little, but not as much as other fighters
