Yes. This fight is necessary especially for Cotto. He would want to avenge his loss to AM and prove to himself and the boxing world that he can beat him. Add to the fact that revenge matches are always big money makers.

Damn right it' necessary. Margarito beat the wheels off Cotto last time around. Cotto needs to redeem that loss and Margarito needs to prove that it wasn't because of the handwraps.
Both guys need it for redemption; Cotto for his first loss, Margarito for all those 'cheat' claims. It has the perfect back story to be one of the biggest fights of the year (especially considering how good the original fight was).... It would be crazy not to make the fight!
Watching Cotto/Margarito as I type... IMO, The fight was over after round 2, Cotto's will was broken. It's a shame... I can actually see the "Prime" being beat out of him. (Cotto) (BTW, What fight was the HBO announce team calling?) That said, Can't wait for the rematch. (Still will never top the OG regardless... "Classic") Besides Sanchez/Gomez... favorite fight ever!
If only Floyd would have taken the fight against "That version" of Cotto Margarito ended. (Would have been epic, Even better than a so-called Manny fight)
