Even Mayweather will be too good for Pacquiao & if the fight gets done Id like to make a bet with you on the fight... if Pac wins then I will leave ESB for 1 full year, vice versa for you if (when) Mayweather schools his ragged ass.

    Let me know.

I accept your bet. if Pacqiuao gets beat by Mayweather I will dress up in a hype job banana costume and sit ring side for the next 2 PPV fights following the loss as well.

To be the goat? Well he will never have I ridiculously good prime like robinson did so he has to go the other route, and fight outside his comfort zone.

Beating floyd, martinez and picking up belts up until 175 could make him goat material. It would have to literally be something out this world.

Consider this; bob fitzsimmons knocked out the heavyweight champion of the world whilst weighing about the same as margo did in the pac fight.

It'd be mega hard for him to be considered the goat. Beating floyd, sergio, winner of s6 and then the lhw champ would do it for me. Especially considering they'd be legitimate opponents outside of his comfort zone.

Sergio Martinez has nothing to do with Manny Pacquiao. Manny has gone up nearly 40% of his weight since he began. Bob Fitzsimmons fought at a time when 250 lb heavy weights was rarity. Average body weight was much different back then. That analogy is useless for Manny as GOAT.

At the end of the day Manny has obliterated every single big man put in front of him.

well manny doesn't have the resume of a greb, langford or robinson. he doesn't have the title run of a joe louis. he also desn't have the unreal feat that fitsimmons has.

this is an elite group and one that i wouldn't even include ali in. pac also doesn't have the "small havyweight" that someone like holyfield, dempsey or marciano had.

his only chance (assuming he'll retire in the next couple of years) is to do the unbelievable like bob did. he'd do that by beating floyd, sergio and the s6 winner. to surpass that definitively i'd say the lhw title should be won. that would make him the goat.

i didn't expect you to. you probably don't have enough knowledge of fighters pre 2000. I was like you once, naive in the modern era.

if you are a boxing fan and you consider pacman the greatest of all time, i strongly suggest you look into some of the names I posted. what pac has done is great, wat they did was simply outstanding.

perhaps you don't rate pac as high as i do, i dunno, but I see him destroying old money and taking sergio all the way. i don't see him beating any of the top 7 smw's (unless AA/Johnson somehow win, he could have a chance vs them) again i don't see him beating a lhw champ (aside from shumenov or cloud).

Assuming he goes back to his old ways and starts fighting live opponents again (khan/bradley/winner of judah-jmm at 140; floyd/ortiz at 147; angulo, cotto, winner of canelo-rhodes at 154) and providing he beats them then he'll most likely be seen as a top 15-top 10 fighter. a great achievement. to hit the number 1 spot he has to do the outstanding, which he hasn't done yet.

    happy easter to you to.

You know what really set the elite apart? They pushed themselves all the way until they couldn't push nomore.

Robinson fought the light heavyweight champion, he'd already dominated the welterweight and middleweight scene so he pushed himself further.

Greb took on a prime gene tunney, 5 times!

Langford, a guy who fought as a featherweight, took on jack johnson, whilst weighing 165 pounds! When he was half blind he fought wills and knocked him out twice, this is a guy who was the leading contender at heavyweight for most of the 1920's!

Louis was champ for 12 years, 25 defences, still not enough for him, he later took on charles and rocky marciano when he was years past his best.

Bob fitzsimmons knocked out the heavyweight champion of the world whilst weighing below the super middle weight limit, he is the lightest heavyweight champ ever. He then tried to defeat the great jeffries, twice! It's staggering. Imagine carl froch fighting david haye, adamek, povetkin, wlad, all whilst weighing in at supermiddleweight.

These guys achieved a staggering amount of great victories but, more than that, they pushed themselves to the limits.

Pac has proven a level above his recent opponents. To break that list he needs to push himself beyond any realistic expectations.
