    Someone who is not old, not on the downside, and not coming off a loss and a draw. Just sayin.

    I think there were more intriguing matchups available against JMM at 140, Berto at 147, Bradley at 140. Shane is simply the bigger name, at this point. Age has caught up with him, IMO. There's a reason why people are not giving a fighter with Shane's legacy, size advantage, etc., a chance in hell to win this fight. It's not just because Manny is so much better. It's largely because Shane has shown serious signs of slippage. He has looked extremely sluggish in his last two outings, in the mid to late rounds. He has also shown a reluctance to let his hands go...unlike the Shane of times past. He still has a great chin (lord knows he will need it) and good speed, but, his reflexes and timing have sharply declined. However, since Manny is not really a defensive minded fighter, the fight may have its interesting moments.
