Carl Froch v Bernard Hopkins

Hopkins would steal a UD fa me

 

I think Carl would eek out a split decision in notts but lose a majority or unanimous decision in the usa

 

Hopkins wins by debatable UD.

 

Hopkins would be too awkward for Froch to land on. Froch is too static and wouldnt be able to get no flow going i feel

 

Froch would get thoroughly outboxed and we we would all be saying how overrated he is.

 

Would be very very close.

 

Hopkins via wily old ****edness.

Froch tends to just fight on the front foot and likes to fight one dimensionaly.

We've seen that Froch has more then one dimension, perfect example being the Abraham fight, but I feel he has grown used to pushing forward and forcing a brawl, this has worked for the majority of his career.

If he elects to use this style against Hopkins, Hopkins will sail to a UD, Froch would need to be smart - but who can out-smart B-Hop?

 

Don't like this fight for Carl but i feel he'd do better then he would of a year ago because he's matured a bit more as a world level fighter he knows not everything can be won on good chin and power.

 

froch could outwork hopkins and nick a decision.

 

Nobody looks good against Hopkins, feels like a bad matchup for Carl but he showed something new against Abraham and is now a very experienced guy at the top level.

I think Froch would win an ugly fight, would be just fresh enough to eek out enough pressure to nick it.

He has beaten two guys who Hopkins couldn't, the form lines suggest it would be tight

 

Right now at LHW I think that Froch would win if it was in the UK by a UD, I think he would have enough in him to win by 3-4 rounds and engage B- Hop...:yep

If the fight was in Las Vegas he would have to win by TKO or KO as I do not think that it would be seen for 2 British fighters to beat him in his backyard, although he is from Philly, you know what I mean...:yep

And let's face it, if the Calzaghe fight would have been a split decision for B-Hop the argument would not have had much weight in it as it was very very close...:yep

I went to the Calzaghe v B Hop fight, in my view the Thomas and Mack is the best Boxing venue on the planet...:yep Some Welsh lads who had been on the ale for a couple of days said when it went to points..."Nice one, it's in the bag for the Welsh Boy..." I shook my head and said to myself "Remember we are in Las Vegas, where the 3 Blind Mice are often in Town...!!!"...:nut

 

Hopkins decision. Very bad style match up.
