Is Boxing news biased towards English fighters

    Boxing News is going to hit the market that sells the most papers.

    I do not associate Boxing News with the amatuer game, and I suspect I am not alone. Thus making a big song and dance about a recent amatuer tournament is probably not going to help sell more papers.

    Boxing News has a proud history of supporting Irish fighters, none more so than Barry McGuigan, who the paper was on board with, very early in his career.

    Also Harry Mullan had a big influence in the paper, which of course meant a love of the Irish.

    In recent years, two British fighters of Asian descent, have become mainstream stars, and Boxing News has been following both since day one...
