Say what you want about Floyd, whether its good, bad or indifferent he has been on top of the boxing world since the late 90's. In 1998 a young 20 year old kid beat the best super featherweight champ and then the number #1 contender. Floyd, was Ring Magazine #2 P4P in 1998, and ironically #2 in 2010 (only because he came out of retirement). For years he was the world's best fighter . So for 3 decades he's been a top 5 P4P fighter (technically top 3). Floyd, is a 5 time world champ and 4 of those were linear without CATCH WEIGHTS. The only other fighter whom I believe was ranked in the P4P top 10 for three decades was Hopkins. Also, as mentioned before he is the only fighter in history to beat three straight fighters who were ranked in the P4P when he fought them ( Hatton, JMM, Mosley). You can't argue with facts!

 Just another Butt-hurt Floyd fanboy thread. These pop up every once in a while after like clockwork...

But glad to know he's been kicking butt since he was 3....

Pretty sure Pac is the only fighter to have won world championships in the 90s, 2000s, and 2010s.

Being on the p4p list for decades is one thing but to be "dominant" for decades is something completey different.

Cotto was the top dog at 147 back when 147 was the deepest division in boxing. He fought anyone and everyone. While "dominanting" Floyd only fought Judah, Baldomir, Hatton and DLH. None of which were at the top of 147.

Floyd has only dominanted 130 and you can put up a good case for 135 too, but thats about it.

You can't leave the sport for long periods of time come back and then come back to fight someone that isn't a top fighter in YOUR division and be dominate. No way.

Not really. For the main reason he wasn't there long enough. 4 fights, 2 vs the same guy. Other two vs. mere contenders who had not gone on to do anything else.

he didn't dominate 135 going 1-1 or 2-0 with Castillo depending on how you saw it and then beating two journeymen.
