    Henry Armstrong did NOT almost win the world middleweight title:

    The draw with Ceferino Garcia was only for the California state title, and a 10 round bout.

    People don't need to embellish Armstrong's achievements, they are already amazing enough as it is.

    The term "pound for pound" was not invented for Sugar Ray Robinson.

    The catchweight for Hopkins-De La Hoya was 158, not 156.

    Roberto Duran never actually uttered the words "no mas". It was "no quiero pelear con el payaso" or "I don't want to fight with the clown".

    Pretty much everything Bert Sugar says or ever said in regards to his favourite fighters.

    A drunk coked out fiend would call bs on the shyt that comes spewing out of Bert's mouth.

    Oscar brings Hopkins down to 158 and gets KTFO

    Pac brings Cotto down to 145, demolishes him

    yep, pac deserves credit for the win and so does b-hop in my opinion. allthough it was bad that they ****ed sturm over just to have a big money unification bout.

    Yea, that was ****. But Oscar didn't really train for that fight. You could tell by his gut. That was the beginning of OScar the promoter and the beginning of the end of Oscar the boxer.

    If I am correct, Bernard Hopkins is one of the greatest boxers of all time and was heavily favoured going into the bout (although I thought Oscar actually performed well at the start).

    Miguel Cotto, while a very good fighter, isn't going down as one of the greatest by any stretch. Also if I am correct Manny was favoured going into the bout (although I thought Cotto would be too much him personally).

    Big differences, brah! (Don't think I'm implying that you don't know these things, I'm just obliged to comment as a member of the Oscar nuthugging gang).

    B-Hop came in two lbs. under the catchweight limit, and said "I can catch Oscar, because I'm light in the ass".

    Another misconception is that B-Hop didn't have an amateur career. He fought in the amateurs as a kid, before he got locked up, and said boxing in prison re-ignited the spark.

    His listed amateur record online, for whatever that is worth, is 95-4.

    Pac gets all the flak for fighting a fighter just coming out of a draw and a loss in Mosley, commonly criticized as "taking Floyd's leftovers", yet no one ever criticized Hearns for KOing Duran coming off a loss from Hagler in his last bout and previously being beaten SRL, Benitez, and friggin' Kirkland Laing of all people.

    I love Hearns and all, but he doesn't deserve a pass if Pac is getting shitted on...and no I'm not a cliche'd "*******" either.

    that's one fight for Hearns. It's the last 6 for pacroid. big difference. and don't compare Duran to any of those guys. also, no one really does give Hearns a ton of credit for that.
