If Jones beats Trinidad and Calzaghe beats Hopkins, this fight should NOT be made.

Calzaghe should have meaningful fights against legitimate threats such as Dawson or Woods. A fight against a shot Jones wouldn't do much for his legacy.

With that said, Calzaghe beats Jones now

 

Roys taps that mediocre ass even today.

 

Roy will finish his career against Calzaghe or Hopkins. I have never understood why he didn't go to cruiserweight and pick up that title as well.

 

If jones beats tito by KO I could see him fight hopkins. (and win again) but not calzaghe. calzaghe would'nt risk it. But Jones would take hopkins to the wood shed and beat his ass. if given the chance. If he goes the distance with tito or he gets beat. he should call it quits.

 

At LHW RJ by UD, people wont agree with me, but who cares he is my favorite fighter and I havent given up on him. I hope a fight with him and Calzaghe gets made

RJJ cant handle pressure at this point in his career. Johnson brings about half of what Calzaghe would bring to the ring.. Jones just isn't anywhere near active enough, with his fists, feet, or head movement to be much of a threat to anyone.. I will be surprised if he doesn't get knocked out by Tito to be honest. I love Jones, but he's done.

jones as pointed out in a good analysis by an esb member (forgot who it was sorry ) on another thread has lost his legs and no longer has foot mobilty.
without foot mobilty against calzaghe jones would be teed off on and his mindset is just to back up to the roipes and play rope a dope.

calzaghe is not going to tire or punch himself out and will just keep punching for the 3 mins of the round round after round until a clean shot gets through and roy who has hardly any punch resistence left will topple over.

i think people are forgetting glenn johnson ko`d jones out cold.

the same glen johnson who then went on to hit clinton woods with the kitchen sink with flush right hands and clinton woods fought straight back.
