Cotto punches hard enough to take Margarito out! in the rematch.....

    Here, if you can understand Spanish and wait until Mayorga comes on, he says that the one thing that surprised him most about Cotto in their fight was just how hard Miguel Cotto Punched. go to the 1 min 7 second mark of the video and hear it from Mayorga himself.

    I believe that Cotto lost to Margarito because of conditioning and because he did not set down on his punches.

    Cotto punches at least as hard as Mosely, had Cotto been in top condition and followed through on his punches instead of backpedaling and Giving Margo momentum, Plaster not withstanding he would have won that fight.

    cant wait for the rematch.

    He's not gonna KO Margarito. He ate 400 punches against Pacquiao and didn't go down, and we all know Pacquiao >>>>>>>>> Cotto in terms of punching power

    no way. cotto landed all night on margarito, flush punches and not once got him stunned. at 154 margarito can absorb even more punishment. btw cotto isnt a hard pucher since he moved to 147...

    Im telling you he did not set down on his punches he allowed Margo to come foward. Look at how Mosely teed off on his ass and Pac took it to him. Cotto gave him too much respect you cant let Margo just comefoward without exacting a price.

    Cotto has as much power as Mosely and or more than Pac, if Mosely can tee off and knock him out and if Pac can break his orbital bone, Cotto can do the same. He needs to step to the side the counter and blast Margo hard! not run and let Margo launch and wing shots and gain momentum.
    its that simple Margarito is wide open.

    well I say only the rematch will answer that, too many questions about that first fight and not enough answers. I expect to see you visit my thread if Cotto kicks that ass in a rematch. I will leave it until then.

    Cotto was landing everything but the kitchen sink on Margo the first time, and Margo just grinned at him. Depending on how Margo's punch resistence is at, if he still got it, then Cotto is in trouble. Styles makes fights, and Margo's style is all wrong for Cotto.

    I wouldnt say its due to Cottos Power, I think the abuse since their first fight is going to be a factor, both have suffered beatings at the hands of Pacquiao one was by stoppage the other was a brutal beat down that included nearly getting stopped to the body and receiving a broken eye socket as well.
    The difference is going to be the punishment that Marg took from Mosley all of that adds up over time and Tony has been in some wars in the last 8 years. I am pulling for Margarito to win, but honestly I have to say Cotto has a better chance this time around and I see him stopping Margarito late...

    So your saying if Cotto wins its proof that Tony had loaded wraps? Sorry kid doesnt work that way, I beleive Cotto wins becuase Tony is softend up from the wars prior to and since their fight....

    Margarito & Cotto were made for eachother... "Styles"
    Unfortunate for Cotto, Margarito was born with more resistance.
    (Miguel is a warrior Steward can never unteach this , its in MC's DNA)

    Those expecting Cotto to jab his way to a win... Don't see it happening.
    Margarito will eventually catch you and force exchange.

    Zooka Your bugging me out. You can't be for real. The Margo that fought Pac-man with 4 more pounds will grind out Cotto faster this time.

    When the hell did he say that? He said IF Marg did not load his wraps, then Cotto wins in the rematch.

    He did NOT say that if Cotto wins the rematch, then Marg loaded his wraps.

    Two completely different things. :patsch
