i felt very sorry for erik in the 3rd fight w/ pac. but not so much in the 2nd since pac methodically wore him down to score that late KO. but that 6th round was really brutal for erik though.

i do believe that roy jones or hatton was the worst for me....
    but probably jones...
Jones because every time he got knocked out he had a "whatever, it happens" kind of look on his face....but everyone knew it absolutely killed him inside.

But hatton.....****, his personality makes him such a lovable character that you just had to feel bad, he looked like a beaten dog when he got up....sad, confused, dissapointed

I've felt upset or annoyed or disappointed or even disbeliving when a fighter has lost...but sorry for them? That's kinda rare...usually you know it was their fault and their opponent capitalizing on it. So when you get right down to it, you can't feel sorry. They're a professional, after all.

Having said that...Tyson sitting on his ass at the end of round 6 vs McBride was pretty sad. And Grant getting poleaxed by that last left hook by Guinn. At least he (somehow) got up from it, but still...

When you're at the stage when a fighter is decked and you're thinking "Poor sod, he doesn't deserve to get belted around", then it's probably time for that fighter to call it a day.

Although i wanted Pavlik to win i felt sorry for Taylor when they interviewed him in the dressing room. He seemed really distressed and sad.

I felt sorry for herol graham, (who was the boxer who made me a fan of the sport) , when he was KO'd by a single massive right hand from Julian jackson when he was probably seconds from winning by TKO. I think it was the suddeness of the KO that made me feel so sad. It pretty much finished his career too.

    I also felt sorry for
Tyson - Douglas - such a shattering of illusions
Bruno - Bonecrusher - he just wouldn't take a knee!
    Foreman - Ali - outsmarted

In recent times, seeing two classy undefeated boxers in Taylor and Hatton lose so dramatically was disheartening. I hope they come back with dignity.

Watching Herol Graham against Julian Jackson was tough, because of the severity.....whether you like the fighter or not, when someone gets stopped like that you just hope they are OK....

Watching McLellan get battered by Benn is also difficult watching in hindsight, as you know what happens after.

    Hatton was pretty sad.

Tyson against Lewis simply because he was a broken man in that fight....him complaining to his trainers in the corner was hard to watch as they were issuing instructions and he just said 'I can't do it'

I also feel sorry for any of David Haye's opponents, because that guy can seriously bang!

Morales taking several knees against Pac was hard to watch, he was way past it and should not have fought....

And just knowing that Holyfield is still fighting, regardless of watching him or what happens to him in his fights is bad enough....
