Lebedev would own this guy and Frenkel on the same night.

Well, he's about to get his shot. Coyne vs Guillermo Jones in June, winner fights Hernandez later this year!

Signing under DK was another bad move. He'll end up broke and with nothing to show for his efforts.

He'll get crushed by one of the Eastern Euro's soon.

He ended up with a title shot despite having no name recognition.

Maybe he could be another Marciano type, doubt it though he doesn't seem to have the power, an eraser like that is needed when you get to the sport so late, he will never be as good of a boxer as guys doing it since childhood, he needs a big eraser in my opinion to have success, but he also needs to fight a lot of chumps to improve and gain confidence, he's 28, still enough time I guess. I wish him the best.

well lets just wait and see if he gets past Guillermo Jones on June 25th, then you can call him a future champ, I like his style though he has some moves. lackluster power though, which is strange because he played ball, but has tiny legs? He's an arm puncher so he won't be a KO artist. I say Huck takes him out in 4 if they ever meet. But hey your friend, and good luck to him.

Exactly. He's virtually unknown outside of St Louis and whoever remembers his brief appearance on The Contender, so getting a shot at Jones is a massive step up.

He's been working on improving his power (finished his last two opponents) but he's not a KO artist as you say. He is fast with good skill and movement though. I like his chances against an aging Jones, with the home crowd pushing him on. :good

so now Ryan is down to lightheavy, what are his chances in this division in 2012? will he have heavier hands by dropping down a weight... still untested but would like to see him do well..

Nah. Snake that he was, at least King got the best fighters to face each other, and fairly often.

Compared to Bob Arum, King is a saint.

King was corrupt, but Arum is a pimple on the ass of a maggot, crawling through the steaming dung freshly deposited by a rabid cow.

Looks like his last fight was at 177 possibly trying to settle in at lightheavy
