Totally agree, please tell me who Valero beat that was anywhere near JMM's level. If Marquez can take Pac's best shots and BEAT him, I'd say he has a damn good chance of beating Valero, too.

By the way, **** that psycho Valero. JMM is thrice the champion Edwin could have ever hoped to be.

 

Finally some sanity. Not to say it wouldn't be an entertaining fight but JJM would PICK HIM APART winning every round except the mandatory I must test his power and get knocked down round for Marquez.

 

I watched Valero's fight last night on showtime (played in 2010). Can't remember who it was. Valero didn't knock him out, but he was a good fighter no doubt. Valero vs JMM would have been a good fight, but JMM just to experienced for him (at least from what I saw).
Valero's movement was decent, of course he has good power, and decent boxing ability. He could have put up a fight, but I think it'd have looked like JMM vs Diaz.

 

Valero would of beat the hell out of Jmm Valero was a beast.

I know Valero didn't get to prove as much as the great JMM, but you don't win fights on resume only. You can't say Valero never fought anyone on the level of Marquez and just dismiss him, because even though he didn't get the chance to fight an ATG, everyone that was put in front of him got stopped.

I actually think Valero could beat JMM, but that doesn't make Valero the greater fighter. This is assuming the fight is at 135 where Valero fills it much better than Marquez who would already be fighting past his prime weight.

 

Valero would have gotten his first loss. Never would he have seen a counter combo from a veteran in Juan. Valero has weird power, which I say could KD Juan in several occassions. Valer can box as well, maybe getting some rounds, but look at the style of Valero, it is a perfect style for JMM. JMM would easily counter Valero all day long as Valero unloads his punches. I say JMM TKO9 Valero. 135 is Juan's Division.

 

OK to all the the cocksuckers that are calling me names because i compare Valero to Katsidis, and think that Valero will beat JMM.

JMM battle tested; Valero battle tested in gym. JMM by decision in a close fight similar to Marquez-Pacquiao and thats because Im giving Valero the benefit of the doubt and being generous.

 

Dinamita would counter the **** out of Valero and go for the body and then open up a vicious cut on one of Valeros eye brows and would mess with Valeros eye sight. Then Valero would probably Gas out and stop throwing to be more careful with his punches so marquez wont counter and Marquez would keep targetting the eye and then throw some brutal uppercuts and stop the fight like he did with Diaz and Katsidis.
