Is it fair to have an english ref and english judges at a british title fight?? Yeah yeah I know people are gonna say "WE ARE ALL BRITISH SO WHATS THE PROBLEM" yeah I know but there is bias in all sports. Is it not about time we had one representative from each country, england, scotland, ireland and wales, toss the coin for ref and the rest are judges!!! Getting fed up with some of these terrible decisions we are getting from the same set of judges, shocking really.
I just think that judges should be held accountable and made to explain themselves if they **** up. Get things in the open more. The problem aint the nationality of judges, its there bias towards whoevers putting on the show, that is a massive problem.
X2 massive problem' as explained in a post 2 days ago that was eventually taken down. we need a jury type situation man off the street with boxing knowledge.
All English judges at a world title fight involving an English fighter should not happen either, but it does...
we all know what happens dont we......there are arguments for and against..... id like to see some foreign refs/judges just to make our lads get a better view on how fights are handled..... i think when home refs are in charge most of the time have ref'd the lads before and are slightly protective of them and pull them out early imo.
I still don't think that's fair man .They can still get away with a couple of points probably atleast .Need's to be neutral
boxing is all about opinions, but even the most green boxing fan couldn't score that fight by 6 rounds for either fighter. If you were going to have a wide(ish) card then you could have had Simpson by 4 at a push, I had Simpson by 2. there is certainly some dodgy **** going on, and I wish the likes of Woodhall would quit the **** that "Simspon doesn't have a pleasing style to impress the judges" so ****ing what? Does that mean he deserves not have rounds go his way? Did Smith deserve rounds for trying to dry ride him?
