Just wanted people's opinion on who they believe are going to be the next world champs. I have a couple from my shores that are open to debate! James De Gale SMW / Olympic champ and British and Commonwealth champ already after only a few fights would give the top tier fits already, but needs time to learn his trade and i'm sure he will be up there. Kell Brook WW / Great punching power and throws from all angles and straight from the same camp as Naseem Hamed and weirdly looks like him. Be nice to check out some other peoples future champs from there shores and why you think they will make it.
Brook, no. DeGale, almost certainly. Gavin, absolutely. A Brit who has a shot at being a great. A shot, but possible.
I like Frankie too, but thought after a few more fights, perhaps with some good opposition and how he mixes. His been great so far and on the verge! Degale and Brook are a little ahead in regards to oppsition and are proven world class. How come brook you said no, is it cos it's a stacked division. I like him against Zaveck or Senchenko, ortiz is a litlle way a way and Manny... well who can beat him.
If I can go out side of the UK Francisco Saludar (Philippines) Marco Antonio Periban and Gilberto Ramirez Sanchez (Mexico) Gary Russell Jr (USA)
Thats what i was hoping for!!!:happy I have seen saluder and he does look good! Seen Russell Jnr at the olympics but have not cecked out his pro career and i'll have to check out the others. thx
Ooooh ok so you just want some prospects? ;-) Sadam Ali (USA) love the look of this guy, hopefully they start moving him up Kubrat Pulev (Bulgaria) very good amateur heavyweight being fast tracked as a professional, will certainly challenge for a title Robert Helenius (Finland) Heavy hitting heavyweight, like Pulev may not become champion but will mix in that level Vyacheslav Glazkov (Ukraine, I think) fast handed technical heavyweight, 26 years old, being pushed, again will mix in world company Rahkim Chakhkiev (Russia) brilliant cruiserweight, Olympic gold medal winner Billy Joe Saunders (UK) Fantastic youngster, incredibly talented, hopefully he progresses well Carlos Ivan Velasquez and Thomas Dulorme (Puerto Rico) both look brilliant young talents, Dulorme seems to be the guy to watch as CIV hasn't fought in a while sadly
Who is Fransisco Saludar? Froilan Saludar: All hype for now like his sparring work and limited outing against bogus comp. But I see some talent there. Allan Tanada: Put down hot japanese prospect Nakamura before being taken out himself in the following stanza.19. Marvin Sonsona: Born again prospect does not have great skillz but has raw ability if trained right. 20. Jason Pagara;19 not great has a long way to go untested beating bums. But in highlight reel fashion. Mercito gesta:23 Looks fast but untested and fades fasts. Kids lacks condition coach and nutritionist and peds to really go toe-to-toe with Mexicans and Ricans..
