    Any number of fighters who hung around too far beyond their best years. I could name for days. For different reasons I'll name Cocoa Kid, though.

    He was offered a figh with Oscar, but got greedy and priced himself out.

    PS yes he was a great fighter.

    im not going with obvious recent fighters emanuel burton, freddie pendelton,or david lopez all real good but i will go with ricardo" chapo" vargas , showtime rickey quiles both very good but couldnt climb that next level. troy dorsey also should be mentioned

    Oh pleeeese stop:nono Quartey gave him a closer fight than Whittaker.. ODLH deserved both of those but had to dig deep to pull out the quartey win.

    Well at the time i saw the fight with about 20 other people,and only 2 thought Whittaker won. I hear more people now complaining about that decision than back then.
