    LIke it or not ORtiz iw more marketeable than Bradley.. And in the US at least on par with Kahn... ORtiz wil still be showcased on HBO and making money defending his title at WW... IF he cant get May or Pac soon, i think he should jsut wait for Bradley and Kahn to move up.. The balls in his court. Let Kahn and Bradlye battle it out and have them move up to try and take his title... At 140 im not to confident he can beat them, hed probalby lose... At 147 i make him the slight favorite.

    He would be waiting years to fight Mayweather or Pac. He has 1 win vs an unproven fighter at WW.

    Khan is the money fight for him.

    Well if i were ORtiz i wouldnt wanna give any advantages to Kahn.. Eventually Kahn wil mover up. A rematch with Berto will bring him in some bucks... Believe me outside of Pac and May figthing eachother, this would attract alot more fans than any one else at WW. Or eventually ORtiz might move up and face Canelo, another big match that would produce fireworks, and both guys are with Golden boy.

    So beating a fake paper bum champion like Berto (Berto won his wbc belt as vacant) should put Ortiz to pound for pound top 10 ranking?

    The last real welterweight champ was Zab Judah--->Carlos Baldomir-->Floyd Mayweather---> Floyd move's up to 154... Cotto---> Margarito--->Pacquiao

    Who the **** did Berto beat to be a 147 world champ? He is like Canelo Alvarez who fought for a vacant title instead of beating the champ.

    Yey keep laughing but unless this kid has a glass jaw, he is the real deal and is only gonna get better... He beats anyone outside of Cotto,Williams,Angulo,Margarito id make him even money with Cintron. In about a year Canelo might be able to take every one of them.

    If i was Victor , id be pushing for a Canelo fight right now(at a catchweight of say 149.. Cause Alvarez is just gonna get better.. THis is maybe a pickem fight.... If Ortiz jumps on him the way baby cotto did its all over,and if Alvarez catches him the way Berto did ,then ORtiz isnt beating the count.. THey both have the firepower to take eachother out.. Would be fun to see who got there first.

    To be fair, one good win shouldnt put you near the P4P list, he quit against maidana and blew the fight against Peterson. Everybody knows he has the talent so hopefully this will be a turning point for him.

    Id like to see him face the best of the rest at welter and then face Khan/Bradley and whoever else moves up from light welter.

    If he beat Money? Number 2 or 3. He'd def be ahead of Donaire, who is overrated at this point anyway. Amazing skills and talent but his accomplishments are nothing yet.

    Sorry, dude, but I simply cannot envision any scenario in which Ortiz defeats Floyd. ***** though he might be, Floyd could stand his ground and still slip Ortiz's punches and pot-shot him to death. :bbb

    Berto was no big deal.
    Both Ortez and Berto fought a sloppy and desperate figtht.
    I was not impressed by either.
    Now if thats what floats your boat, good for you.
    Both fighter looked like GARBAGE to me.
