Eubank fought every 2 months, and even plan to have 8 defences in 2005 until Steve Collins took away his '0'.

Matchroom don't hang around with their fighters. Will we get a big fight in July followed by a title shot in the Autumn?

I would expect a similar plan for Kell Brook

Nah i think they will go with another defence of title or a 12 round bout with a contender or gatekeeper type then look to push towards world title in back end of year.

Darren seemed down on his display last night and i still feel there's area's in his game he needs to work on. Slip made a great post last night in a Barker thread which he pulled him up on punch form as fight goes on and admiring work. Spot on that is and it's got to be stopped now but got feeling it wil be overlooked i hope not i like Darren and think he can win a version of world title.

If you mean his post where he was saying about his lead uppercut and not pulling his right hand back quick enough then absolutely.

That uppercut is a bit 'Froch-like'.

The Eubank thing didnt work in the end, it was an ill-fated long term contract that Sky gave Eubank and that is not going to happen again anytime soon. Still, I think Barker if he keeps injury free will be fairly active under Hearn. There are some great domestic fights again in this division if they can be made:bbb

Yep that's the post it was detailed but spot on. He was right about the uppercut when he said he's getting away with his athleticism at times to get away from counters to it.

Id really like to get two title defences before going for the world. A fight with Lee is certainly too risky. Maybe against McEwan and Martin Murry and then go for Pirog, which i think would be very winnable for Darren

I believe the plan is for one more defence then go for a world title shot.
