In terms of marketing a fight to casual viewers, 24/7 is leagues above IMO.

They're both decent, 24/7 is a bit more dramatic with the string pulling.

24/7 just seems more calculated to sell. in that respect it's not bad, but to a core fan it just looks fake as ****, and a lot of bull**** for us to swallow. the production values are pretty boss, same with the narration.

FC360 gives me more of the fighters, i think it's done more on the fly somewhat.

That might well be true, too.

I just prefer the more laid-back documentary style of FC 360. 24/7 always feels like it's trying waaay too feckin' hard. You're probably right that it persuades more people to part with their cash, though.

I like both. The 360, Ep. 3 from yesterday was excellent though. HBO gotta step their game up now.

24/7 captures a lot more raw moments, and does it with such brilliant setups of camera angles. The music and the production value in general makes me feel like I know the boxers in a way 360 doesn't. I like 360 and the themes within 24/7 can be a bit contrived sometimes, but the narration on top of everything else definitely translates the drama and emotion going into a battle of elite warriors. They carry their hopes and the fears of their families with them into that ring in order to write history, and HBO's team knows how to show that on screen.

I used to talk **** about 24/7 being overdramatic, but now that i've seen both...

I just got to say I suddenly missed that scene where Roach was talking about Pac to focus more on the Margarito fight than thinking about his political career. (Something like "You gonna be president someday, but right now, Margarito"). Cheesy as hell. But it adds more color to the production in general.

And man I just miss that trumphets and drums music. I used to complain that it's the same for all fights since ODLH-Mayweather too.

24/7 for now. Let's see what 360 brings next.

24/7 is more for the casual viewer. 360 has more detail and less "Springers final thoughts" from a narrator lol

i always thought 24/7 was the better series and probably still do. however i think pac v mosley episode 3 is the best episode than any other 24/7 episode.

to me it seems fight camp is far more informative. it seems a bit like a documentary
whereas 24/7 is clearly just made to hype you up for the fight. exaggeration. drama. great music. cheesy lines.

all in all i prefer FC360. I dont need no artificial **** to hype me up for a megafight. id much rather get a genuine insight into the fighters
