Kind of a disappointing to be honest. I would like Briggs to become a commentator for espn, he has before and is very good. I think this squabbling is extremely stupid. And although I like rafeals work, he has no right to be running his mouth to pro's like briggs or mosley or whoever. Rafeals employed because of these guys, and if they sign a contract to take a horrific beat down, than its there decision and theyre choice to go out and try to shock the world. Buster douglass had NO chance, yet he won. Imagine if he had never been given the chance. I just don't like people writing off one fighters chances, especially when he's a living legend and has pulled upsets off before. It would be like not giving hopkins a shot at pascal but look what happened there.

Him and Briggs having words is between them - but look at how many times Rafael has been insulted in this Thread - when I'm pretty sure he's said nothing about anyone in here. The man gets paid to write and cover the sport - regardless to what you may think about his work - he's doing his job. I'm pretty sure - most of you aren't the best at what you do either - but it doesn't mean you're not doing a good job.

It's a pathetic thing to say seen as Briggs showed a tremendous amount of heart to stand up to a ferocious onslaught. The fact that Briggs ended up in hospital after the fight shows what can happen in this business. Most of us were calling for the Briggs corner to end the fight before the last and he did take undue punishment. For that pathetic, vile turd to say that he wanted the fight to continue shows what a ***** he is. The guy see-saws all the time anyway on what he says, but after listening to this ***** spout off over the past few week I'd quite like to see him kicked in his ****.
