    At the end of the day Floyd turned out to be a gigantic hype job in a sense. He WAS an amazing talent but came addicted to making as much money as possible with the least risk. If he had trouble with Judah, even for a few rounds and trouble with a 39 year old Mosley (2nd round career scare) with his longest career inactivity it is HIGHLY probable Manny would have stopped him. Those were his 2 best WW tests. Those are not the 2 best Welterweights and he should have won at least one or both without flirting with disaster.

    Floyd was great but to be the best pure skill is only some of the battle. It is about time top fighters that are better in their own way and better for the sport in general are now on a list without his name.

    All roads lead to Floyd Mayweather. Floyd is the biggest name in the sport. Boxing will lose millions of fans with Floyd retired. His PPV events are worth their weight in gold.
    #1 WW in history. Best defensive fighter after getting hurt at WW and figuring out a lesser conditioned fighter. Does you real think Manny or Cotto would even lay a glove on him at WW ? Nothing to prove.
