Shane's Blueprint: To be Competitive.

Shane is going to have to hurt Pac, to be able to win, he's pushing 40, so if he isn't able to hurt Pac, he will get a beating BUT if he does hurt Pac, watch out.

 

Shane doesn't adjust, at all. Plus he doesn't listen to Nazim during the fight. He sort of tunes him out and relies on his muscle memory. That works when your 28, not 38. I hope Shane doesn't suffer serious damage in this fight.

 

Shane will try be more technical,they were seriously studying what marquez was doing to pac in thier fights,although pacs improved of course.

Im sure pac will be faster paced and outwork,outmove shane,and he will look to get hit less early on.

 

I guess shane and jack foolishly bought into the hype of cotto being a seek and destroy fighter with a weak chin. As a matter of fact with the exception of very, very few boxing insiders, most of the people that favored cotto thought that he would win by breaking down and koing the older mosley. Even cotto's most ardent fans didn't predict that cotto would have won in the manner he did.

One thing I like about richardson is that, strategically he leaves very little to chance.He also doesn't blindly accept popular assumptions. Unfortunately shane's at a point in his career where his slowing reflexes and general speed are starting to hinder his ability to implement the appropriate strategies effectively.

Look for opportunities to land a big counter.
