Why Should Marquez fight Canelo?

    Alverez is a novice professional and I don't give a damn how many fights he's had. He had virtually no amateur career so he's a work in progress and Marquez achieves "nothing" by taking the risk to fight a bigger man.

    Alvarez is massive compared to Marquez and his title wouldn't be on the line because it would be at a catchweight. I wish Golden Boy would get a grip with this bull****.

    Everytime Marquez is mentioned he is matched with FAR bigger men. Judah (former undisputed welterweight champion), Khan (bursting out his skin at 140), Canelo (WBC 154lb champion).

    Judah is the slightly better option because he's comparable in height but the other two options are nonsense.

    PS: I'm aware Manny has blasted through the weights but he has grown into a natural welter over the last two years. I personally think JMM won both fights but at welter the third fight is a mismatch regardless of what Marquez has said to the contrary.

    Golden Boy is really grasping for straws here, and they look pathetic for trying to make this fight.

    canelo called him out. if jmm doesn't answer the call then he's ducking him. canelo wants it at 147 and jmm fought at 147 the other year ago. no problem at all.

    GBP have officially offered the fight to Marquez at Canelo's request, at, get this, a catchweight of 147lbs.

    Isn't a catchweight fight meant to benefit both guys in some way? Welter is Canelo's natural f*ckin weight class lol.:lol:

    If Canelo can't make 150 for Hatton (wasn't he nearly 2lbs over?) he's not going to get down to 147 for JMM, is he?

    In all fairness, with Marquez being basically a lightweight and Alvarez a light middle.... surely 144/145 would be fairer?

    There's no way this fight happens, Marquez would only step back up to 147 for Pacquiao, why doe it for this no mark?

    Theeee young light middleweight titlist should not face the old lightweight champion at welterweight. It is a stupid idea.

    The only answer I can think of . . . is the $$$$$.

    But if it's the same amount that's being offered to JMM to fight Pacquiao then no reason for JMM to chose Canelo.

    JMM said his ultimate goal is Pacquiao!

    I would be happy to see JMM knock him out like Pac did to Oscar. The idea is stupid and Canelo is a ***** to call out Marquez. He should have more respect to the Mexican legends. Moreover he has achieved nothing in boxing for now.

    You'd want that to happen do you? SO JMM won't have an excuse not to fight Pac at 147.
