Study the art of counter punching , This content is protected and only Marquez has conquer and gave Pac problems. His punches are short and very straight and for the life of me I don't see how trainers ,training to beat PAC can't see this. Mosley needs to wait on Pac and pick his shots thats the only way he's going to win.
Manila Ice is much crisper and is employed with a little more movement than before. Manny has also improved his positioning after this punch and a little bit with his left as after he throws it especially in combinations he is less in harms way. this will make a 3rd fight easier vs a great counterpuncher like JMM. I think JMM will have a few more things to be cautious of and have less counterpunching opportunities than in any of the first 2 fights.
He asked a question, I told him that only Mayweather beats him today at 147, didnt mean to hurt your feelings there. Also... you think Pac is greater than Robinson, Leonard, Hearns, Duran & Whitaker ?.... because those are the names that 1st came to my mind that I have no doubt would beat Pacquiao at 147.
Get him to stop fighting weight-drained has-beens and my leftovers and take the tests. Oh, and give me the $100M!
You said you dont see FMJ as a threat to Manny Pacquiao but FMJ at WW has not come close to losing, he has looked in a different class + Pac has never facd anyone who A. fights like Mayweather or B. has Mayweather`s overall boxing ability or talent. You either underrate May or overrate Pac or possibly both... I mean, `no threat` ?... c`mon be serious. You also said Pac was the best ever at 147, you cannot say **** like that & expect to be taken seriously, seriously.
Does it matter when a fighter was born ? or what color he is ? A great fighter that has shown to be virtually impossible to stop at his most comfortable weight and one of the best offenses ever combined with speed and angles can't be written off vs anybody not even Robinson and Leonard. It seems it is more people are skeptical to accept Manny because of the era he is from more than anything else. Also the chemistry he has with Roach is another facet that could put him over the edge because that alone is something special and rare at anytime in history.
outside of boxing and as a person and impact on the world...absolutely. that's where he's greater.:hi:
That **** does not interest me one little bit tho. In the ring he aint greater or better than those guys & he gets tooled H2H by all of them (IMO)
:good Agreed. If your stating he is improving his defense and being much less reckless, that is true, but I still think JMM faced an almost identical mirror image of Pacman that is the modern one with weight being the main difference. Pacman's defense and underrated counterpunching would give JMM huge problems, but you can tell he was trying to box more with JMM in the rematch and Pacman was trying not to do the same mistakes with JMM, but he just wasn't as successful as in the first fight. JMM's age and weight will determine his downfall, I think he already was able to handle Pacman's best. Both JMM and Pacman are great, great fighters, but not great WW fighters and I think when your fighting an elite fighter it's not so much about styles because elite fighters usually know how to handle different styles, but really how great that fighter is at handling those styles. To me it's not the style, it's the fighter. I'm 50-50 on Floyd vs Manny because I think Floyd has what it takes to beat Manny and vice versa. People say Floyd's style can beat Manny's, but really neither of these guys are one dimensional they bring different elements to their game and have an ace up their sleeve. But basing from recent performances, I'd have to give the slight edge to an elite fighter with counterpunching abilities that can stay punch for punch with Manny and/or make him pay for his mistakes. In another words, it has to be a smart fighter and both JMM and Floyd are whizzes when it comes to boxing IQ. I think JMM laid down the blueprint, but he's not physically capable of performing that way at a higher weight, but I may be wrong. IMO
No, it does not matter when a fighter was born or what colour they are, why ? who said otherwise ? :huh Also... I think its very very safe to say that yes, you can pretty much write off Pacquiao vs either Sugar Ray at 147 lbs.... completely out of his depth & doesnt even have a punchers chance vs either.
Are you ****ing serious dude? You can't be. First of all you take away angles by using footwork. Leonard, and Robinson had damn good foot work and could have taking those angles away and combined that with their jabs and ring IQ as well. Now you act as if Manny and Roach are the only ones to ever have chemistry. LMAO!:verysad
Manny's footwork and ring IQ is part of what enabled him to do what no other fighter in history has so what is your point ?
Yup Pac improved. Recently one of Pac's sparring mates told that Pac is a different figher now than before, he told Pac is more technical now, he is more unpredictable, before he will try to overwhelm you, Pac punches from different kind of angles now and is more accurate. Another one big improvement on Pac is he is better at throwing a single shot right hook, and it has more power. Nowadays you will see Pac's single shot right hook kd opponents like Hatton and Cotto, that single shot right hook even stop on his track the granite chin Margarito.. In Pac vs Jmm 2, you will see Pac's right hook has improved(but is not as good as today), while in their first fight all you seen from Pac is jab jab, throw the left.
