    I have watched Ken Buchanan vs. Duran fight a few times and KB was a very good fighter. If Leonard was, say, a 10% better boxer than Buchanan, and he may well have been, that would probably have been enough to decision Duran.

    I think if we had a time machine, it would be only fair to bring Leonard forward and allow him to use modern training techniques during the buildup to the fight.

    I think the De Jesus 2 fight version of Duran was the best lightweight version of Duran
    Aggressive yet defensively brilliant, his defence in later fights was better than in the Buchanan fight. So Duran beats Benny Len

    I think you're probably right that that Duran is the greatest lightweight. Maybe that version you spoke of beats Leonard 7 times out of 10. But who knows?
