Should be an interesting fight, such a close match up but hoping Rees will stop him.

when the irish don't give an irish fighter a chance you know...he hasn't got a chance.

    Still a good fight.

I give him a chance. He'd be far from the favourite in my book, it's a really tough fight for him, but he's got a chance, he's a decent boxer but he'll have to work really hard to win rounds against Rees.

Also **** off with your shitty little comment Rob, overall the Irish posters are as level headed and unbiased as any other group on here.

I think your being unfair there..

When we say that one of our underdog fighters is capable of causing an upset we're accused of being biased or deluded. When we acknowledge that our guy probably won't win it's interpreted that he has no chance.

Don't confuse objective commentary with biased support Rob.. My gut feeling is that Rees will win, it'll be interesting to see how he'll cope with Murray's jab, to be honest I don't think Murray's jab will be sufficient to keep him off and I could see him being able to walk through it like another poster predicted but naturally I hope I'm wrong.

BTW Murray's mother is English so no doubt some Brits might claim him if he wins!

Rob you talk some **** , you call the Irish biased and you act like a little condescending ***** .

It wasnt too long ago you were claiming Stephen Smith would be p4p top 10in the future:patsch if thats not a biased view I dont know what is .

Wow, this is shaping up nicely with Frampton and Dodson. Great to have some good fighters in the capital again.

Hopefully this will be the first of many big fights to come back to Cardiff!

Like the Brits couldn't possibly ever show signs of bias. The Irish are no more bias than the Brits. How many Brits picked Hatton to beat Pac, Munroe to beat Nishioka and how many are backing Haye to beat Wlad?

Andy Murray is reported to be setting up camp "in the west of Ireland" for six weeks before fight, first time he has done that. The better the opposition (***an, Nolasco, the WBO-ranked Brazilian Lacerda) the better he's performed.
It's make or break, he's got the size advantage, he's in his prime... I really think this is his time. He'll not stop Rees, but I can see him winning clear points decision.

Oh **** off the Irish are so much worse than the Brits.

Look at Macklin. Irish and British.

Irish give him a shot. British dont

Can you back that up? Has there been a poll? It seems most Irish are picking Sturm to win, they just aren't shitting all over Macklin when describing his ability like many Brits here are doing. I'd call that having respect. Macklin isn't world level but he's far from ****.
