He looks very tired and off compared to other pre fight interviews. Seems like something is bothering him. Don't know If that will effect him but he may have overtrained or been more hurt in the accident than they are saying. Perhaps this fight will be more interesting than previously thought. GOAT
Its because of this one. http://www.tmz.com/2011/05/07/manny-pacquiao-car-accident-boxing-las-vegas-shane-moseley/
It's because he's in there with someone of a higher calibre than the straight come forward fighters that he's been fighting. That's why I criticised Al Bernstein's theory of Pacquiao throwing 1000 punches per fight because he never did so against Marquez (the last time he was in with a skilled fighter) and I think tonight has gone some way to proving my thoughts correct. I don't know the punch stats but it didn't look to me like anywhere near 1000 punches that's because he's in with someone who can use his feet and knows his way around the ring. Shame Mosley couldn't drop that right hand of it would have been very very interesting indeed.
Mosley was slick and just ran. After the big pre fight production. Hell, they even had LL cool J. Shane ran and Pacquiao just couldn't find rhythm tonight. WHOS power was on tap tonight.TOLD y'all.
I wrote that before the fight when I saw them interview Pac. It was a genius performance by Manny. Once Shane tasted his power he just was trying not to get hit like Manny did to Clottey. Nobody in the sport has the speed, power and warrior mentality he has.
I've said it many times before, when you're opponent is way too negative, it's extremely hard to look good against him. Pacquiao didn't do much wrong other than increasing the pace earlier. But again, it's hard to swarm and be effective when the the other guy is always maintaining distance, and intent on surviving. Never thought I'd say this about Shane, but he was shameful tonight. Watching him literally run from Manny in those later rounds, was embarrassing.
Nothing but credit to Pacquiao tonight. I don't for one second blame him for the stinker tonight. If anything, he deserves praise for turning a warrior into a runner (he did this to Morales, too). Time for Shane to hang it up. Hopefully Floyd blames Pacquiao for the stinker and makes an effort to make the fight happen. Would absolutely love to see Manny KO Floyd, although I'd favor Floyd by lopsided UD.
his legs were shot just like he said in post interview said he needs to retrain his legs, mentioned he's suffered from this problem in every big fight since marquez?!? he def looked decent if that was his version of "shot legs" regardless he's making a bad habbit of being unable to finish old shot fighters, Clottey, margocheato, ssm not much of a atg IMO
BS. This was supposedly one the best training camps for Pac. Stop making excuses. What happened was a 40 year old man used a little movement to frustrate a supposedly ATG. Balquiao's technique hasn't gotten any better, he didnt know how to cut off the ring. Booooooooooooooo. Boooooooooooooooo.
