There was a thread floating around here that Martinez was indeed prepared to make 150.

    Whats 4lbs anyway?

Oh and I'd school you any day of the week ****** on boxing. :lol

Martinez will have to cut some limbs to make 154lbs boy. 4lbs less means he needs to burn some muscles and not body fat.

School me? You're a clueless moron "Floored" boy.

What's the meaning again of being "Floored" son?

On the weight thing, Martinez has said repeatedly he'd go to 154 for Mayweather or Pacquiao. He was 170 against Dzinziruk, but he was only 168 for the Williams catchweight fight.

Did Showtime report Pacquiao's fight night weight? I know he was 145 the day before, but I was curious to see how much weighed tonight, as Ariza had indicated he's walking around at 154 now. I certainly don't think Pacquiao has any obligation to fight Martinez, but if it's true that he's now walking around above 150, then I think it becomes a bit less absurd/unreasonable.

I hate to break it to you, but I don't really think that's your call to make one way or the other.

Why would this fight happen when Pacquiao has 2 opponents with far less risk that Arum can shove down our throats? Marquez(@147) and the winner of Cotto-Margarito II(@150).

Weight considered, Manny isn't fighting above 150 (and he shouldn't) and Martinez isn't fighting below 154 (and he should't)

It was DiBella who said that Sergio would need to cut off his leg or arm to make 150. Margo made 150, and he outweighed Pac 17 lbs come fight night. Sergio will outweigh him by at least 22 lbs if they fought at 154.

But at this point in Pac's career, no one else will provide him with the warrior challenge that fans crave at 147 or 140. Everyone now has a good idea of how hard Pac punches and will likely fight defensively just like Mosley and Clottey or risk getting knocked out or battered. Bradley, JMM or Judah will definitely be defensive-minded, except for probably Maidana or Ortiz. But Pac would need to fight them both at the same night just to give fans 12 full rounds of action.

I hope Pac and Sergio can compromise at 152 so we can see another epic fight.

By that you're saying Pacman has an obligation to face Martinez at 154lbs.
