    1. Mayweather will use his long reach and effectively use his jabs on the outside.
    2. Mayweather has great upperbody movements that can put Manny's punches out of range.
    3. Mayweather has his right hand ready for a counter.

    1. Pacquiao has better footspeed that can sling his punches at great accuracy,
    2. Pacquiao's weird punching angles together with his footspeed will put Floyd into confusion.
    3. Pacquaio has great conditioning and can take his offense up to the last round.

-If Floyd can negate Manny's footwork, Manny is in great trouble. Floyd UD Pacquiao
-If Manny successfully confuse Floyd through darting in and out, throwing angles that can sting Floyd, Floyd may not see the 12th. Manny TKO11 Floyd

Here is the thing about your post. It contradicts itself. Read what you said about Floyd. "Mayweather will use his long reach and effectively use his jab on the outside." "Mayweather has great upper body movement that will put Manny's punches out of range" That right there with the addition of Floyd's great foot speed and foot work will take away the things you said Manny will use against Floyd. The Jab is what neutralizes hand speed and sets up the hooks, uppercuts, and straight right hands. Foot work is what can take away angles. Thats boxing 101. The question I have for you is can Manny take those weapons away from Floyd?? Manny has problems cutting off the ring.

my opinion on this fight hasn't changed much. Pac will come out strong and force Mayweather into a defensive shell. Mayweather will wait for Pac to slow down but that will never come. By the time Mayweather makes adjustments Pac will already have dug too deep a ditch. Also, if Mayweather thinks it's safe for him to come out of his shell, Pac will catch him and knock him out. If Mayweather comes out looking to stay in the pocket or in range he will get tagged and then go back into his shell.

How do you figure Manny will force Mayweather into a shell? Floyd has the reach advantage and the foot speed to avoid Manny. You must have forgotten that Floyd is great at his offense as well. He will let his hands go when he has to and he will not be standing flat footed in front of Manny just letting him throw 10 punch combos. You must think Floyd can't make Manny respect his punching power?

when i say defensive shell i don't necessarily mean with his guard but also with his movement. Manny just has that kind of offense where he gives fighters only two options: either you go in all out survival mode or you will eat some hard punches. And like I said one key aspect is that he does not slow down over the course of the fight neither mentally nor physically so it's not like you can wait for him to tire out.

when was mosley ever afraid to engage too? If you think floyd fought like a fruit against DLH, wait till you see him fight Pac. Floyd will lose to Pacquiao, i can't be more sure than after seeing pac dominate mosley. Yes his workrate dropped but he still won every round, Mosley's punch output dropped as well because pac was waiting for him to open up and making him pay. and i've never seen him fight so afraid.

Floyd will not engage with pac. If he does, he will see the canvass. He can't stand in front of pac and exchange punches and in turn rely on his upperbody movement for defense. that will not work with pac's speed, pac will always get his punches across.Floyd's chance is to make pac look horrible by running and potshotting him. but the judges may **** him up in the scorecard if pac shows enough agressiveness. Pac didn't lose a round against mosley even when mosley was running. Pac may do enough to win rounds against a running Floyd as well.

niether man is going to dominate the other so you can forget that. both men present problems for the other.

as one of you already said, pac will come out and put may on the defensive but do you think mayweather is just going to sit there and do nothing. he'll create opportunities for himself. as the judah fight, he takes time to adjust. but he has to avoid pac best punch, straight left. pac is going to make mayweather work more then anybody else. but one major thing that goes into mayweather's favor, he can push pac around using his size advantage.

all things considered, the match up slighly favors mayweather but he has to take the fight in the first place.

Obviously there are arguments for both fighters here, Manny can become frustrated by Floyd's style and tactics and lose a decision whereas Floyd has shown he is open to big shots in several fights so he could get hurt. It's difficult as they are both Elite HOF fighters. Manny has proven that even against stylistic nightmares he can still win and equally Floyd has proven that he can adapt and recover if he is indeed hurt. I give Floyd the edge purely based on his versatility but would also not discount Manny jumping all over Floyd should he stun or hurt him during the fight and forcing a stoppage.

Hopefully both camps come to an agreement and get it on ....

Floyd would be aggressive. Floyd is a hit and move guy. He would establish range with body shots, and kill Manny with accuracy.

I can definitely see this happening, but just how Pac has a good chance of getting a knockdown early in the fight, I think Floyd has a great chance of getting one late.
