"We were promised the Mayweather fight after the Antonio Margarito showdown"......

hmmm....sounds like old arum made him some sort of promise.....probably why he told people there was a 2nd negotiation....in good faith to arum.....but old bob didnt actually work at ever really getting a deal done

Disappointed to see that this was a fake quote. I figured Greenburg was trying to get revenge on the in-all-likelihood Top Rank-based sources who spread rumors about him being fired.

He didn't say that ****. He's a business man, and to go public like that would be idiotic.

"In light of his recent opponents and added to that last nights performance, we highly feel that the only person we want to see him in the ring with is Floyd Mayweather, no disrespect to Bob Arum or Manny, but the level of opposition as of late has been sub par, We were promised the Mayweather fight after the Antonio Margarito showdown, but it never came to fruitaton. Lets just say were not gonna be too crazy about putting his next fight on a PPV if it's with us"

Here is the link, put its about the Khan-Bradley fight Mainly

its the best resume of any current fighter.....only thing i will say is when you know the guy has only an interest in 3 or 4 more fights...a guy like mosley was a wasted one, considering his last fights going 0-1-1
i said that the day it was signed it was gonna be a one sided meaningless win but obvious sweet pay day that they could sell to the public...because its Pac vs whoever and people will pay....

lol as if they would reconsider pac on ppv, the guy is a massive draw. the problem is anyone he fights will be a cherry pick because he destroys everyone except mayweather.

He has a point, but the matchmaking is being done with consideration to the Mayweather fight. Arum isn't going to take a fight that's TOO risky and jeopardize leverage at the negotiating table. To his credit, instead of fighting nobodies, he's fighting well known fighters - albeit washed up or coming off career altering losses. Either way, that beats not fighting at all.

Pac is avoiding him. His comments after the fight were overly truthful yet still pathetically point out he wants no part of the fight. When he stops avoiding the fight he will get outclassed and the boxing world can get back to business as usual.

I think he's happy with his legacy and is obviously tired of being answered the same quesiton over and over again..

same thing with floyd except he's on vacation.
