Floyd has style to beat Pacquiao

YEA....but will he fight him?????? I got tired of defending him a long time ago. He should've fought pac a while ago.

its crazy how little floyd trusts his ability...im not sure why he doesnt want to fight...especially considering the money he'll make...he's worried about losing that 0

 

I've said for a year that Floyd could beat Pac. It won't be pretty, but he would make Pac miss and counter him all night long. But there's always the risk with Pac's explosiveness that once false move could be Floyd's undoing. I don't think Floyd's willing to take that risk. Plus, I think Floyd genuinely believes that Pac is on roids.

 

If they were to fight now I still give Floyd the slight edge based on style and speed. Although I dont think Floyd would ever really hurt Pacman, the ref may stop it late on cuts. If Floyd can make it that long without being hurt himself. One thing Floyd doesnt have is the size advantage that guys like Mosley and more so Margarito have, therefore Manny will have less ground to cover to get to Floyd, but at the some time he will be getting tagged more by the quicker Mayweather. It will be a great fight if it ever happens and I really hope it does before too long.

 

Pacquiao by UD again, Mayweather can`t beat pac, he could win a few rounds though.

 

you seem to forget floyd looked every bit as big (if not bigger) than mosley in their fight. he's a fleshed out 147 pounder now man

Floyd better hurry and make up his mind to fight Pacman. He's getting old himself and may not be as quick and strong as he used to be. If he retires and doesn't fight Pacman, it will haunt him and his fans for the rest of his life even with his sacred "0" lost.:yep

 

Floyd does have the skills to beat Pacquiao but will he....I think he is scared of his power. The only reason he would take a Ortiz fight is because Ortiz has no foot movement and weak defense. Actually just getting in the ring with someone as strong as Ortiz would be a step up for Money, he has been fighting pillow paws for a long time now. If he fights Ortiz the strategy will be to keep the fight on the outside the whole time and stay on his bycycle, Ortiz can't handle the lateral movement which was why Berto was tailor made for him, margarito would be the same way if he fought Ortiz.
