He drew with Mora, how can he be a leftover. Besides, 154lb Mora UD Maidana. Didnt Maidana just go life and death with a shot Morales?

they're lining up different fights because floyd's been completely silent. trust me, if arum could make a fight that's going to net that much money, he's going to make it if both parties are interested.

that would be a nice lead in. i just have absolutely no faith it's going to happen.

And besides Pacquiao needs his stock to rise back up after that dreadful Mosley fight. a 3rd JMM fight could do the trick

and if Floyd comes back a month earlier or after Pac and also impresses vs Ortiz

the public demand will be at an all time high

JMM was a tuneup. Mosley was practically a tuneup...And now Ortiz?

Pac & Arum are both on record saying they are agreeing to a test, Floyd just needs to come out of vacation. You dont hear them souting about tuneups. To these 2 guys, you can get A level fighters like Mosley/Cotto and consider them tuneups to each other.

I see Mayweather getting back into the ring as a positive thing, regardless of the opponent. Probably a step closer to Floyd vs Pac, and a fight vs Pac is better late than never.

However, this is just a rumor, again.

i was joking. mosley should have won that fight. still a pathetic performance though. maidana did just get beat by morales, imo, but i think he definitely knocks mora's head off at any weight. mora is so garbage it's ridiculous.

His stock is fine, as long as hes winning, his legacy keeps growing and the ball keeps rolling.

yeah coming off a win 18 months ago against a fighter with no lateral movement.

I am actually kinda surprised that mayweather would take this fight, some one in his own weight class thats not shot, but we all know Ortiz has no footwork, he's a slightly smaller version of margarito.

I wonder what the over will be on this fight as I would def take that bet. NO way money even knocks him down

pac looked phenomenal last night as always. it was mosley running for his life that stunk up the joint. pacs stock is as high as it ever was.

doesn't matter how high public demand is. floyd ain't risking a loss.

well I'm losing the faith as well, but it is what it is. Mayweather has said absolutely nada, but if this fight with Ortiz comes off ... everyone will know what Floyd's next move should be

and if Pacquiao takes care of JMM (baring Arum making a Cotto rematch) both men are running out of options.

**** if it's not too much to ask the fans could help as well by boycotting garbage PPV's (Mosley vs Pacquiao)

the only options really are someone out of 140 (like bradley) or sergio martinez if he's willing to drop back down to 154. seeing the way pac completely blows everyone out, i don't see why a fight with martinez is so out of the question.
