With Shane Landing a couple of power shots, landing a few combinations, making Manny miss repeatedly and even timing counter punching despite being an average counter puncher, surely Floyd watched that fight and thought "****, this is too easy"

All of the above to me indicates that Floyd, should he be the same fighter he was prior to this current break, would have more than enough opportunities to exploit errant punches and misses by Manny, he is also a much sharper and shrewder counter puncher than Mosley and would find Pacquaio much more often.

If I'm Floyd, this fight solidifies what I think he already felt, Manny represents an easier fight for him than anyone realises.

Too bad the REAL Floyd was too busy watching Lady Gaga instead.

Floyd fans think it would be easy, but if it is why is hesitating so much in making it, biggest money and legacy sealer, why are you affraid? thats what I never understood, why request tests make things so difficult if its so easy for you. I think floyd knows he is past prime himself he cant risk it vs a southpaw that throws a lot of very hard and fast punches, he must consider pac very risky, despite everything he says his actions indicate this, either that or he has no faith in his own abilities.

yes, floyd already said this from the start but apparently, saying one thing and believing another is different thing. but hopefully, after seeing the fight where pac had slowed down, which floyd has been waiting for, floyd would have finally had the urge to fight pacquiao. just ignore the 3rd round mosley knockdown and just imagine that mosley knocked pacquiao down for real.

I don't understand why Floyd is delaying it either, to be honest, I'm actually sick of all the bull**** because I've long felt that Manny was an easy fight for Floyd but this fight just reiterates it due to the success a tired aging Mosley had.

The only thing I can think is that Floyd doesn't like the idea of 50/50 - the only saving grace is that after this Mosley fight, if the fight does business like Floyd/Mosley, then he might relent with Pacquaio.

But realistically, Cotto who isn't fast in movement or handspeed, Margarito who has no lateral movement, Hatton who had no lateral movement and ODLH who was a shell of what he used to be - no one before Mosley really combined "OK" lateral movement with "above average" handspeed.

Floyd has superb lateral movement and superb handspeed. Well, the last time he fought he did.

Don't you think Floyd knew this before the Mosley fight? Pacquiao has always lacked a good defense and accuracy. Only thing that change about Pacquiao was he became faster and stronger and his opponents became flat-footed. Floyd didn't come back just to make money, he came back to fight Pacquiao. Easiest 100 mil ever made.

Would you want to fight in one of the biggest fights in history with at least 4 court dates being rescheduled every other month. They have Floyd pinned against the wall while Pacquiao continues to deny drug testing. Once things begin to settle down, Floyd will start speaking up about the drug tests. Mayweather could easily apply the pressure on Pacquiao about the drug tests but imo he doesn't want to deal with any of that right now

What Pac does have is power and that cannot be denied.. he is less wild and slower definitely but man was always fast so this version is not a slug... just a level below from before..

What Mayweather has to worry about is a sneaky shot from pac from an angle he is not accusomted to receiving... this shot might just end mayweather which may be what is keeping him from signing in fear...

yes he can UD Pacquiao easily... but he might suffer a big shot in between and does may want that? probably not

it won't be easy. pac swept mosley where as floyd lost a round and almost got stopped. at this level, even with floyd's style's and size advantage plus now that it seems that floyd has the lesser ring age and wear and tear, it still won't be an easy UD for floyd and he knows this.

you can see that a fight is easy for floyd if he accepts it in a heartbeat just like the hatton and marquez fights at 147.

Its easier said than done when you are not the one facing Pacquiao in the ring. Floyd has avoided Manny, because he must have seen something in Pacquiao to make him believe the fight is anything but easy. Floyd is simply afraid of losing, and Manny would likely win should they fight.

You could argue that Shane had more success against floyd then he did against manny. he did knock the **** out of floyd, and have him on ***** street. he never did that to manny. also, manny probably would not have the same respect for floyd's power as he did for shane, so i think he would press the issue more.
