It wouldn't be wide if Floyd tried to step inside, unlike Mosley.

Right now his best defense against Pacquiao is running his mouth from vacation land. Floyd won't ever get inside a ring with Pacquiao. :deal

if you consider sticking an elbow to your opponent's face a proper inside game then floyd has it. :D

i am waiting for floyd to fight pacquiao and walk him down and stop him in the 4th.

How can he come at him with angles if hes in the inside? That takes away his main offensive weapon. Pac rushes forward and throws 2 shots off balance then rests and again. He never gets pushed back. And hasn't fought on the inside in years. If hes under control in the pocket he has nothing to show Floyd. :good

Floyd can eat Manny alive in the inside, but the struggle is getting there. He needs to tie Manny up with his left and throw uppercuts to his solar plexus with his right

Or we can just try and headbut the opponent by running headfirst into him all night trying to get a cut like Pac did.

Pac will be lucky to see the bell for round 3.

yeah he is, and he will when he absolutely has to, but do you really think he's going to fight pac inside. you really think you're going to see those two guys forehead to forehead banging away at eachother? what a joke.

The biggest myth in boxing is that Pac can't fight going backwards. HE CANT FIGHT PEOPLE WHO ARE GOING BACKWARDS. Marquez would take three steps back, Mosley would take four steps back, never coming forward, his offense is magic against people that come forward. The ONLY guy who ever pushed Pac back was ERIK, and his chin is steel and then some. Marquez went backwards all of both fights, and Pac had trouble hitting Cotto when he started going backwards. Luckily, Floyd has a problem getting hit with sneaky straight southpaw lefts so him going back all night might not be as big a problem as we think.

If Floyd actually pushes forward against Pac its going to look like the Hatton fight. Better to pot shot off the back foot.

Think about it. On the inside Pac has no chance on the outside he can always get lucky with a headbutt technique he was practicing against Shane.:hat

You must think Pac is N'Dou.

They are not the same people. Pac is going to consistantly throw punches, it's pretty obvious to me that not only does he punch hard and fast, but he also punches in 5 or 6 punch combinations, and they are very hard to predict where each punch is coming from.

If Mayweather elects to keep this fight inside, Pac is going to utilize his footspeed, movement, angles, and handspeed to render Mayweather into a statue.

I don't give a damn HOW good your defense is. There is no defense that is good enough to protect him from that speed and power, from so many multiple angles especially when he's standing still.

If he utilizes his movement, footspeed, angles, and a pot shotting type of style he can prevent Pac from getting into his rhthymm and effectively make it a boring fight where he wins by a relatively wide decision.

However, as I said, there are three possible weaknesses. He may not have enough power to make Pac respect him enough, he may have lost something due to inactivity and age, and his chin may not be very good.

If none of those are the case though, if he utilizes and outside boxing sort of gameplan, he should beat Pac comfortably.

Fans will be pissed though, especially those expecting a firefight.

If Floyd fights the way you want him to though. He gets ****ed up bad and stopped. I mean, he gets an incredible ass beating.

Now I'm not sayin Floyd doesn't have heart, but he don't understand the hunger that people from these third world countries are going through. Pac is gonna bring all that **** from his past, put on his demon face, and beat the **** outta Floyd if Floyd elects to stand in front of him.

 Inside? ****.....Floyd won't step inside the ropes, but if pigs all the sudden began to fly and he did take the fight...>Floyd would not be anywhere near PAC if his legs and reflexes will allow him. He'll be doing what Shane and Josh did.....Try to survive. It's just in Floyds nature. He's defensive minded and will Flight, instead of fight if in there with a serious threat. PAC will be relentless in his pursuit to get Floyd to fight but will be unsuccessful, but he'll win a decision.

I agree with this to a certain extent in the sense that Pac can't fight against people going backwards. I think he can fight, as we saw in Mosley, but it makes his life much more difficult.

As you know, it's very difficult for a small southpaw or vice versa to fight against a tall and rangy orthadox outside fighter or vice versa.

It's tough as hell. Pac manages to do it though due to his tenacity, speed, and power.

But tall rangy guys typically have the advantage in a southpaw vs orthadox fighter because of the distance created.

And I agree with you if Mayweather comes foward, he gets the **** beat outta him. Pac is very underrated counterpuncher. Nobody ever gives him credit for this.

Uh Manny won't have room to through a straight left in the inside. Unless you meant left hook or uppercut

He threw 500 punches last night. Hardly Margarito esque with close to 1000. He throws rarely more that 3 and first 2 never land . Especially against a fighter who refuses to move his head. His connect percentage is too low for that output to be effective.

Footspeed means nothing on the inside you do know this? And how is he going to find angles with a bigger fighter smothering your work? He couldn't cope when Margarito smothered him on the inside on the ropes and dug to the body.

Floyd beats him anyway he wants. He is better on the inside, outside, in the pocket, there is not one area I think Pac has any advantage over Floyd.

Not true. Manny is the best at mid range.
