OT - Jockey Katsidis died after drug binge: coroner's report

I'm sure katsidis said the girlfriend had badly beaten him the night he died, and they were waiting on the toxicology report to see if that was a factor. I think that interview was the week of the guerrero fight, so it wouldn't surprise me if it had an effect on him, that and that stupid fight plan.atsch

 

I guess Guerrero being the superior fighter had nothing to do with it either atsch

 

huh? I never mentioned guerrero being superior(nah ya think?), because he's irrelevant to this thread, all I'm refering to is the bit about kats saying he just had it confirmed to him that his brother was badly beaten up by the girlfriend the day he died, and perhaps that affected his performance. Of course guerrero was the superior fighter, we knew that before the fight. The "best" man doesn't always win though.

But again, it doesn't matter, just stating what I heard him say in the interview the week of the fight, thought it was relevant to the thread.atsch

 

I don't think anyone has a problem with death of his brother being an excuse for the JMM lose, but we can't start troting it out for every fight thereafter...... I know the results hadn't come back from toxicologist but what's next? when he has a fight on the 1st anniversary of his death or his future birthdays etc will be another excuse??

Lets just leave the one and only excuse at the JMM fight

SO you dont think that micheal would of been affected mentally by just recieving news that stathis girlfriend beat the christ out of him before he died, which would constitute murder in michaels mind?

That would send anyone off the rails, seeing as though michael probably loved stathis missus and trusted her and then he hears this right before a superfight. I think michael not choosing his usual ring walk, yelling at gurrero b4 the fight which is uncharacteristic of mike, and prob his worst performance ever, losing every round had somthing to do with a serious lack of focus, which was obvious.

Props to gurrero for a great win, but that was not the real michael katsidis in the ring that night.
