Whats your opinion? Has it slowed down? After re watching the fight and also thinking about the fightcamp footage... to me he has not slowed down at all. If anything I think he has increased his hand speed from the Margarito fight...

I think the perceptions of him slowing down came about because he was unable to put more than 2-3 punch combo on a contantly back-tracking mosely

But When he did let his hands go it looked pretty fast to me :good

Comparing his handspeed from DLH/Hatton, to now, yes his handspeed has dropped slightly. Only natural though, he looks like he is filling in to the division now.

pac looked bigger to me for some reason, his handspeed seemed oki when letting his hands go but his jab and straight left seemed a little bit slower then in the cotto fight for example.

Ya I agree with you from the dlh/hatton stand point, but has it slowed comparing to the Marg bout?

You dont believe the Stiffness Excuse?

I though your handspeed would go first before footspeed????

i don't believe the stiffness excuse. pac did a lot of chasing than any previous opponent. he couldn't set and throw off his punches.

I don't believe he's slowed since the Margarito bout. Margarito is very slow, this may have given the perception that Pacquiao was quicker than normal...which in turn could possibly be the reason why people may believe Pacquiao has slowed.

I couldnt tell if he was bigger, as the good copy I got from the markets what in ultra wide screen lol

I think his right hook was looking faster than it has in the past, with the straight left, I got the impression he was hesitating a lil or not as sure when to let go coz of mosely backtracking so much.

    Usually footspeed first IMO.

Mosley is an example, as is RJJ.

hard to tell as one guy was coming towards him and the other was moving away

personally, I thought Pac put on an impressive performance against Mosley... basically forcing him int survival mode. Every time Mosley stood his ground Pac tagged him with clean hard shots. I don't see anything Mosley could have done to win that fight. Pac's 1-2 looked fast as hell and those straight lefts he landed to the body looked like killers.

I agree with how you saw this fight, Pac could only do so much with a fighter that was too worried to engage.

Mosely would have seen the tapes of Cotto/marg & hatton, they got tagged hard when they were in the process of throwing their punches..
To me it during the exchanges that Pac gets his man with those shots that they didnt see..

I think with that in mind, mosely just went into survival mode. Although pac could have cut of the ring better, I will gve him the benifit of the doubt bcoz of his leg stiffness complaint
